Darkness over Karakura Town (Closed)

Inside the garganta, Evil Tomix grinned. Another garganta appeared behind Shinko, and Tomix leaped out from it, a huge cero blasting from his mouth. Tomix sword flew towards Shinko, ready to kill it's opponent.

Shinko sensed the disturbance in the reaitsu around him as the Garganta opened. He immediately turned around and slashed his sword, firing a concentrated blast. It wasnt ment to destroy Tomix's attack but to cut it in half. The blast cut Tomix's cero in half causing it to fire around him and miss him. Shinko then slashed attack, parrying Tomix's attack. He then distanced himself from Tomix. "Calm yourself down...Tell me...you dont like being restrained inside that weakling Tomix...Want to be free no?", he said.

Evil Tomix roared.
"You have a point. I'm sick of always have to listen to this weakling go on about his girlfriend....I WANT TO BE FREE!"
NO!
The mask on Evil Tomix's face halved. Only half his face was covered now. Tomix's real voice returned.
"He's not going anywhere. He gets out, he kills all my friends. I'm not going to let him out!"

Tomix raised his sword. His evil side returned.
"Heh. Looks like I can't take him over yet...I'll settle with killing you for now."
He leaped at Shinko, spinning again and again, attempting to slice Shinko apart.

Shinko smirked...as he thought he could persuade Tomix's dark side, possibly even manipluate it. However Shinko then noticed that Tomix regained control of his body. Shinko narrowed his eyes..Tomix might have been a little stronger than he thought..however Shinko was still far from full power and speed. Shinko noticed Tomix rushed in for another attack..Shinki sighed...Tomix hadnt learned that straight forward attacks were not going to get him anywhere. Shinko waited until Tomix was close enough and then Shinko disappeared, appearing behind Tomix firing a darkness blast while he was still spinning...

Tomix grinned when he saw Shinko vanish. He blasted a cero at the darkness blast, using his shield to destroy the remainder of it. He sensed where Shinko was. He opened two garganta, blasted a cero through. The other end was right above Shinko, and he'd need a qucik reaction to dodge it.

Shinko noticed another garganta and there was another explosion. When the explosion cleared there was another dark flame dome around Shinko. He used this to block the ceros. Suddenly the dome fired dark flame rain in all directions destroying much of the surrounding areas and attacking Tomix from every angle. Shinko emerged from the dome...Shinko didnt care much around Karakura Town or its inhabitants..perhaps Tomix would save them.

Tomix sighed. He let his evil side take control again. His shield was repaired, and he destroyed his leg and arm armor to make the shield bigger. He was flying around the area as fast as he could, attempting to block as much of the dark rain as he could. He managed to block about 75% of the black rain, but several buildings were damaged and Tomix had several bad burns.
"I-I won't let you destroy everyone..."
Tomix threw his coat away. He opened 50 garganta all around the surrounding area. He jumped into one.

Shinko just chuckled. "You poor fool, look at yourself...relying on your dark side...wonder if youd do that if Reina was here..but then again shes not..because I have her. Look at this situation...You're taking a lot of injuries. The burns from now and your severed right arm..you can even use that anymore. Dont make me kill you..you know you lost..run and fight another day...mortal", Shinko said. However something in his voice changed...it was calm. It was downright sadistic and evil. Shinko narrowed his eyes, now getting ready to end this fight. Shinko moved away from the range of the Garganta again, his zanpaktou ready to react.

Tomix.
Tomix was in the garganta, his eyes closed.
Tomix...
His eyes opened.
TOMIX!
Reina voice slashed through his mind. He was fighting for her. He opened 10 more around shinko and leaped between them all, finally ending with a bunch of mirage clones lauching ceros at him. They were to close to use the dome shield.

Shinko looked around. "This trick will never catch me", Shinko said as the ceros were fired. Shinko used a shunpo...his shunpo with the speed of the 2nd step under Shukuchi made his shunpo exceptionally advanced, leaving an afterimage before Tomix even attacked. Shinko appeared in the sky and dusted himself off. Shinko slashed his sword...not aiming at Tomix, just randomly attacking the city.

Tomix sonido'd in front of the strike, blocking Shinko's attack.
"Leave...them...out of this!"
Tomix was angry. He wouldn't let people get endangered by this pyscho. But he was losing it...he couldn't fight him off forever. He slashed forward, but held his shield forward to defend himself.

Shinko looked down, as Tomix blocked Shinko's strike he would lose sight of Shinko for a mere second. Suddenly Tomix would feel a finger on his shoulder. At the same time he felt the finger he would hear,"Byakurai...". A huge and destructive blast of lightning would fire, through Tomix's left shoulder. There was little reaction time as this all happened within the same few moments Tomix reacted to block Shinko's attack on the city. If this move connected, which it had a great chance of, then the fight would be over...Tomix's had taken great damage of his right arm already, and substained many burns and bruises...if this attack went through Tomix would have lost both his arms and wouldnt be able to battle with either...plus the pain from the attack would be unbearable. Shinko then stepped backwards, disappearing, appearing several meters behind the man. The byakurai would continue past Tomix and attack much of the city that was in its path.

Tomix eyes widened as his shoulder was touched. Tomix sonido'd slightly has the blast burned a part of his arm. He was fast enough to dodge most of it, but he did get hit by some of it, badly burning his right arm. He sonido'd again, appearing in front of the blast, using a cero to slow it down and destroy some of it. His shield he had put on his back was pulled out, and blocked the last of it.

"S-Shinko. Leave Karakura Town out of this fight."

Shinko laughed loudly and sadistically. "You can't protect this town...just like you couldnt protect Reina...Fool I've been only showing you half my skill and look at you", he said as he laughed at Tomix. Shinki lifted his sword again. "Give up...you've used your ressurection...you even let your dark side take over...you used all your techniques and look at the outcome..I'm barely touched and you..and on the verge of death", he said as he readied another attack.

"Can't protect the town...Maybe."
He looked up.
"BUT I WILL PROTECT HER!"
He launched forward, his sonido flying into overdrive. He was appearing everywhere, mirage clones attacking from every angle. His ceros were flying everywhere. He might die. But he didn't care. He was going to protect Reina to his last breath.

Shinko watched carefully and waited until Tomix and his afterimages were in a considerable range. Shinko had already charged his next attack and he just slashed downwards...however this slash did not make a regular reaitsu wave...it produce a dark flame shockwave...practically an explosion of reaitsu. He used Tomix's force against him and attacked...it would be too late for TOmix to dodge since he practically ran into the attack.

"CRAP!"
Tomix's body was burned in the explosion. He crashed to the ground. Blood seeped from his arm. His shield was torn apart. His armour was in pieces.
"S-Shinko. . ." Tomix willed himself to stand again. Standing there, arm bleeding, armour destroyed, Sword snapped, he was about to collapse.

Shinko watched as Tomix fell. He looked coldly at the beaten arrancar. Dark Flames would form a ring around Tomix and then rise several feet, trapping him. The flames then began to get closer to Tomix until they engulfed him. It wouldnt burn, but there was severe pressure on the flames forcing Tomix to his knees...and after the flames surrounded him and engulfed his body...it would explode. The explosion wasnt going to kill Tomix..however it would be strong enough to knock him out if connected. Shinko was still aware of his surroundings and his sword glowed black.

Tomix looked at Shinko.
"y-You haven't beaten me yet..."
He rose his sword, attemting to protect himself from the explosion. It was too no avail. The explosion connected, and Tomix slumped to the ground, almsot knocked out.
He lay there, staring at the necklace given to him by Reina.
"Reina...I'm sorry, I wasn't strong enough" He lay there, on the edge of conciousness.

Shinko looked down..."Time to end it...", he said as he fired a weak blast from his sword...just enough to knock Tomix out cold.

Tomix was knocked out cold by the blast. His lasts thoughts were off knowing he had protected Reina long enough.

Shinko looked down and smirked...the fight was over. Now it was time for him to make sure Tomix never forgets his lost here. Shinko descended to his unconcious body and studied it for awhile. His sword was still in his hand. With his sword he picked off the necklace Tomix was wearing from Reina and he took it. He then took Tomix's zanpaktou. He then looked at Tomix and slice his midsection...it was deep and Tomix would now bleed. Because the cut was so deep, when it healed it would leave an extremely visible battle scar...one Tomix would have to live with for possibly the rest of his life. Shinko then mocking put on Tomix's necklace and held his and Tomix's zanpaktou. He looked at Tomix once more and smirked before he disappeared.

~Exit~

Tomix awoke. Pain coursed through his body. His zanpaktuo was gone, so he'd have to wait days for it to come back to him. He tried to sit up, but then he saw a huge scar across his midsection.
"What...what the hell...NO!"
He had seen what Shinko had taken. Reina's necklace. Tears began to drip from his eyes. He opened one last garganta, and he drageed himself inside.
