Visiting Karakura Town

Yuki slipped into her gigai after fetching two from Urahara's shop when she stepped out of the portal that opened in Karakura Town, with Sairento Bakuhatsu following her. It was around midday and very sunny, and much too hot for her liking, but she didn't complain considering it would be useless - it wasn't like she could change the weather. Yuki turned to face her companion, having to raise a hand to shield her eyes as she looked up due to the fact he was much taller than her; her dark brown eyes seeming slightly lighter in the sunlight.

"Now that we're here would you like to go to that place I said to you last night sold really good riceballs?" Hopefully it would be nice and relaxing to actually take a day - or even half a day - off from her duties as a captain.

Sairento chuckled softly, slipping into his own gigai. Due to the fact he wasn't wearing a shirt, he was very comfortable in the heat. He knew that the captain wanted a relaxing day, so he decided to help her at least a little. Sure, and after we get our rice balls, I can show you my favorite place to relax.

He smiled softly, as he followed the captain. Sairento loved getting out and around the world of the living. As long as he was with a Soul Society division captain, the facility didn't mind. He patted the pocket with his old captain's haori in it, wondering how long he could go without her figuring out who he really was.

"That would be nice," she said, wondering when he was able to come to Karakura Town to get a favourite place to relax.

The two walked in relative silence as Yuki led the way until they reached a small, out of the way shop that sat oppostite a small park where little children could be seen playing. For some reason she felt at ease with this strange shinigami, yet all the same she kept her guard up in case of anything- this was the human world and it was known for strange things happening suddenly.

Yuki opened the door and stepped into the perfectly air-conditioned place, thankful to be out of the heat. She always loved the temperature in here because it was always just right for her tastes. The inside showed that the shop wasn't too much bigger inside than it had appeared outside, which lent a sort of cosy familiar air to the place. Yuki slid into one of the chairs and ordered two servings of riceballs.

"So, I don't imagine you get to leave Soul Society too often, am I right?" It was a casual question, but still she felt slightly sorry for him; she couldn't even imagine what it would feel like to have to be so restricted all the time in everything you do.

"You can eat as much as you want - being a captain has its perks, including a very decent wage." She tried to keep the air as casual as possible, this was her first day off for what seemed like forever, but she couldn't stop herself from analysing the man sitting across from her with her unfathomable brown eyes, calculating every little movement and processing each sentence said to be remembered in her vast memory. She couldn't help it, she was suspicious and cautious by nature, and even when she was - to a degree - trusting someone she still analysed them; call it a bad habit of hers.

Sairento waved her comment about being a captain away, shaking his head at it. Believe me, a captain's perks don't compare to those of a free-thinker. Sairento said it like that for the simple fact that he knew how a captain's life was. And how they were always controlled by someone of a higher authority. He liked, no LOVED, being a rogue. There were no rules to follow and he could stay neutral. Something in how she was lookingat him made him feel uneasy, so he told the waitress to give his riceball to her. He had lost his appetite. Sairento put his hand into his pocket, gripping tightly to the old haori, his yellow eyes staying on here face.

Yuki accepted the riceball worridly, averting her gaze slightly, but not so much as to arouse suspicion. She had been staring and had probably made him feel uneasy or intimidated - though he didn't seem like the type of person to get intimidated easily. She usually had that affect on people, having had her stares been described as unnerving in the past. Now she felt the awkward air surrounding the two as she ate a bit of her riceballs - at least she was still hungry.

"So, is it hard? Living like a rogue I mean. I can't even imagine what it would be like; what it would feel like."

It's easier without people watching your every move. Keeping you cooped up in some run-down shack. He closed his eyes, removing his hand from the pocket, leaving the captain's haori within. His form then leaned back in the chair, his head tilting back as he opened his eyes to stare at the ceiling.So why did YOU do it?..I mean, why become a captain?

(OOC: ok, since our next two posts have been deleted do you just want to pretend that they weren't 'cause I don't really want to have to write all that again if so then we were up to you being about to tell Yuki about when you were a captain)

IC: Sairento sighed, standing from the chair, ignoring her gaze as he turned his back to her. He popped the mod soul in his mouth the he had in his pocket, his eyes closing as he was pushed from the gigai. The gigai sat back at the table in front of yuki, placing the captain's haori on the table.

Sairento turned back, muttering a word of apology, before launching his form into a shunpo, breaking through the door of the shop, as he headed towards the park. He seemed worried, as he grabbed the huge nodachi blade, speeding his shunpo up, before unsheathign it.

(OOC: well then, c'ya and have fun killing your character off:) That sounds so weird... But I'll help you die if you want)

Yuki immediately stood up when Sairento ran out of the room, heading towards the park. She knew she would need to take whatever action necessary to stop him getting away - even if that cost him his life. Which in a way sucked because she was just starting to ever so slightly warm up to him. Popping a mod soul into her mouth she swiftly separated from her gigai and followed him to the park where she unsheathed her sword and pointed it at him.

"Sairento Bakuhatsu, if you do not return immediately with me now I will have to take necessary action. If you try to fight me that necessary action can include death."

Sairento simply grinned, bringing his arm back to allow the fingers of which to wrap around his nodachi's hilt. He twisted slightly to allow the bandages to loosen, falling to the ground in a slump. His arm came up, the down to hold the nodachi to point at her at waist-level. "Show them your meaning..Release, Ookami Shikon!" upon the shikai release phrase, his blade slowly retracted into the hilt, the wolf-head at the bottom opening wide enough for it come out on the other side. The wolf-head tightly gripping the nodachi. He grinned as tendrils shot out of where the blade had previously been, lashing around like snakes.

He then simply brought his arm up, the reitsu around his body pouring into the blade to surround it. His arm came down in a swing, bringing the reitsu forth, it coming a whip-like movement, directed at her abdomen. If it hit, it would rip part of her clothing from her stomach, and wrap around her to stop movement.

Yuki's guard was completely up when she saw Sairento smile, and it was rightfully so when in the next instant he was bringing his Dick up and releasing it's shikai. Reiatsu poured into the blade as he brought it whipping towards her abdomen, but considering she was prepared for anything she had already drawn her blade and blocked the attack, if only barely - she would be lying if she said his strength was not impressive. Shoving the blade away from her Yuki jumped backwards extending her left arm straight out to the side, the Dick and her arm completely perpendicular to her body.

"Chikyuu wo koora senasai, Touketsu Suru Hi." Her voice was calm, yet it held an icy bite to it as the decorative blue tendrils which were on her blade and hilt turned to ice and reached up to cover her arm in icy veins or pulsing blue. She could feel the cold seep into her skin as her arm became one with her Dick, the blade shrinking to about roughly a third of its original size, perfect for close combat fighting. Before her reiatsu had completely settled Yuki shunpoed forward, using the cover of unsettled dust and reiatsu to cloak her movements. Drawing parallel with his right side, Yuki slashed across his leg to try and cripple him and hinder his movements.

Sairento had closed his eyes as soon as she had blocked his attack, pushing upwards with a shunpo. Before which, he left a small cloud of reitsu in the shape of his body where he had once stood to confuse her. He sighed, pushing his form higher up into the air, slashing downwards at her once more, this time releasing a cero with his whip like attack. The cero wrapped around the lash, making it seem like a small tornado-like structure.

If his cero didn't hit, he brought his arm to swing the lashing, it growing outwards to become longer than before, swinging in a full circle multiple times. If this was successful, anything within a nine yard radius would have been cut, and or bleeding.
