Battle Dome One

OCC: Zilo, you will be picking the Location of your battle, which means Kujou makes the first Hostile movement. Give us a great fight guys and good luck!

Zilo walks into the soul society for his first fight. He was told he would be fighting Kojou a captain for the Thirteen court guard squads. He was excited he wanted to verse a Shinigami for a while now. He was sure that it was going to be a fiar duel as he stood out in the middle of a flat plains with the sun high and leaves everywhere around him.

Takashi had been informed of the Arrancar intruder by a member of the 12th Division, a small rather mousy looking fellow with a thin mustache that looked noticeably like mouse whiskers. Having assured the young man that he would "Take Care of it" and asking him not to bother any of the other captains with such a trivial matter Takashi had begun preparations for the battle. Unsheathing his Zanpakutou Takashi raised his hand and then spun once thus cloaking himself and his reiatsu quite expertly with the 26th Bakudo; Kyokko. Now utilizing Shunpo and Hoho simultaneously Takashi would have barely even been blur against the skyline if he had been visible. "Excellent decision, for the both of us Arrancar. To choose such a empty and flat plain, it's like you know exactly how I want to end this already" Takashi thought to himself as he continued to float overhead. Takashi crouched and allowed himself to be taken by gravity before kicking off the air, once again thanks to Hoho, Takashi sped up his fall and lashing out with his invisible blade, intent on taking the Arrancar's left shoulder with a single blow. "Let the games begin" Takashi thought to himself, the one flaw with Kyokko was that the moment Takashi made contact with someone else whose reiatsu rivaled his own, such as the Arrancar's it was disabled.

Zilo had been sliced down the chest. His blood flew out onto something but he didn't know what it was. He saw the blood was floating in the air. And started to look like a stain in something. He grabbed his sword and swung towards the blood hearing a ripping sound. He didn't know if it was clothing or skin. If it had gotten to the skin the guy would be bleeding right about now. If not then there would be some clothing on his sword. He watched the blood stain as he jumped away noticing it floating.

Takashi was a bit surprised that his attack had worked so well, but now was not the time for dumb grins of excitement, now was the time for another attack. As Takashi caught back to his feet he was caught off guard as the Arrancar let loose a swing of his own from his Zanpakutou, the blade made it's way smoothly through Takashi's Captain's Haori, Shinigami Hosode and drew a line across Takashi's chest. While the cut was not deep it did cause Takashi to lose focus on his Kyokko which made it dissolve instantly rather than gradually as it normally would have considering that Takashi had already made contact with the arrancar's flesh via his Zanpakutou. "TSK!" was the noise Takashi made as he sucked spit through his teeth to show his obvious disappointment. Gripping hold of his Captain's Haori Takashi lunged forwards and threw the clothing in front of him effectively utilizing it as a screen to block the arrancar's vision. With the screen up Takashi let loose a loud "Byakurai" that sounded more along the lines of "Bark" from his through. The #4 Hado was along the path to burst through the Captain's Haori and maybe even strike the Arrancar.

Zilo heard him bark the command for the 4th hidou he then pointed his finger tip and said softly "Graici Cero" It hit the captain kidou sending dust around them. The espada was use to the dust and charged at him with all his might. And sliced while hiding in the dust. The he disappeared then appeared behind the captain. Then aimed at him with another finger "Graici Cero" Shooting it at the captain form behind.

Whatever the Arrancar had done to counteract his Kido it had resulted in a small explosion which covered the area with both smoke and dust from the ground. Taking this as a chance the arrancar had sent his blade whizzing towards Takashi from somewhere in the smoke, the attack caught Takashi off guard causing him to let out a loud yelp as the arrancar's blade made a clean cut along the bridge of his nose, the cut drew blood but it's most prominent effect was on Takashi's psyche as he suddenly found himself distracted by the blood now oozing slowly down his face. "SHIT! Asshole got me!" he thought to himself, as he made a decision and gripped his blade firmly. "Haoto, Hoshi Fuka" He whispered to his Zanpakutou and it began to glow white. As the Arrancar's Cero rushed towards him Takashi stored up his Reiatsu into the new form that his Zanpakutou had taken.

Takashi raised his arms and crossed them in a fashion that resembled the Cross-Arm Guard that boxers took when they wanted to defend against particularly powerful body blows. Now with his arms in position Takashi roared out the name for the #39. Bakudo, which in this case seemed to be "Enkosen". A bright Orange shield took form in front of Takashi and his Guard. When the Cero hit the Shield he felt it crack under the pressure and so when the rest of the Cero broke through Takashi was less than surprised. Takashi found himself Standing rather sturdily all things considered but his arms had some burns along them and it seemed that his shoulders and shins had had the same treatment, but overall, he was alright. "Okay, Time for the counterattack" Takashi thought to himself and it was then that he began to utilize his prowess in Shunpo to disappear and reappear above the Arrancar, with that he less loose with a flurry of jabs, the jabs permeating the air. With the release of each jab came a ball of white light, each one intent on hitting the arrancar. "Feeding Frenzy" Takashi had named the attack and for good reason, with a dozen white orbs of concussive force equal to Takashi's punches coming at him the Arrancar had his work cut out for him. "Lets see what you got buddy!" Takashi thought to himself.

Zilo was taking the white light punches they hit hard. He was starting to feel pain. And when he finally feels pain he starts to get happy. And when happy he goes a little insane. He grabbed one of the shinigamis hands and threw him to the ground he put away his Zanpaktou. He then charged a lot of reiatsu into his fist. You could now see the black reiatsu coming from his fist that was strong enough to make a crater about 25 meter wide. He came down with his fist as hard as he could to make the impact even better.

Takashi couldn't help but let out a gasp of surprise as the Arrancar suddenly appeared out of seemingly nowhere and grabbed hold of him as if he were nothing but a ragdoll. "You have got to be kidding me" Takashi thought to himself just before he was thrown at the ground from his post ten feet off the ground. While the collision did not do anything deadly damage it did work to disorient Takashi long enough for the Arrancar to finish up whatever devious plotting he was doing. As he flew down towards Takashi at near point blank range, considering how fast the both of them were, Takashi had little tie to move out of the way but as it was the time was not enough. "ENSOKEN!" Takashi roared as the distance was reduced to almost nothing within an instant, the Orange shield took form right in front of the blow that the Arrancar had unleashed with his fist causing it to crack and then shatter. The shield had however gotten Takashi enough time to get out of the way and to his feet. Now with the Arrancar and himself within such close quarters Takashi was going to take it as an opportunity to utilize his specialty, Hakuda. Takashi let loose a single jab from his right shoulder, the force of the blow was sure to be enhanced by his Shikai as that was it's sub ability.

Zilo started flying back wards form the blow that he had tooken. He came to a slow stop withdust coming out from his feet. He looked up at the shinigami."There's one thing i will tell you when i draw my sword i am faster then i was before." He then charged at the shinigami and disappeared and appeared behind him with great speed then charged a Graici Cero and pinted all five fingers at him increasing the damage then from a original.

Takashi couldn't help but break out in a grin as he saw the result of his jab on his opponent. "Okay, to say this thing is close is an understatement. He's definitely stronger than I am but I think I can beat him as long as I"m smart about how I fight" Takashi thought silently as he came up with a few other plots devised to defeat his current opponent. When the Arrancar explained about his sword Takashi felt an air of dread hit the air just before he lost sight of the arrancar. It was only when he felt the dense build of Reiatsu that the Arrancar was behind him, maybe seven feet at most nine. "Damn! This ones way stronger than the others, only one thing to do in this case" Takashi told himself before he began piling up the Reiatsu inside of his Zanpakutou in a fashion similar to what he had done to unleash the blasts of white energy, though this time it was a much larger quantity. Takashi let loose his own Reiatsu in what he had named quite some time ago the "Armstrong Cannon". "Only way I can counteract an attack this potent is with an attack just as potent" Takashi thought to himself, usually the "Armstrong Cannon" only had about the power of six of Takashi's normal white energy blasts but this time he had packed at least twelve's worth. He could keep his pace for at least another hour assuming the Arrancar didn't get any stronger and force him into Bankai. If that occurred Takashi was afraid he might just run out of energy before the fight was over.

Zilo got shoot back from the blast and stoodf up. "Impressive soul reaper. Now ill show you what i warned you earlier." He pulled out his sword and smiled disappeared and appeared behind him with hsi sword at his neck then disappeared again and appeared above him with all his speed and strength into a downward cut on his enemy. Hope he can dodge this i don't feel like killing a shinigmai today the thought.

Takashi was, to say the least, surprised as he felt his own cold and rather slimy blood on the Arrancar's blade up against his neck. "Oh I get it now. Guess it's time we got serious eh" Takashi thought to himself as he noted that the Arrancar's shadow had reappeared just beyond the reaches of his own, meaning that he was above him. Takashi had intended to dodge the slash but was shocked to find that he had left himself at an angle, still inside the crater that the arrancar had made before. "SHIT!" he thought to himself as he attempted to lean back only to have the Arrancar's blade cut him from right shoulder down to his left hip.

Biting back a groan of suffering Takashi took the opportunity the arrancars attack had offered. Pressing his left index and middle finger to the rather deep cut Takashi flicked them at the arrancar causing it to fly towards the face of the Arrancar, and if Takashi's hopes came true, his eyes. Takashi finally lashed out with a real attack, something he had named "Jumping Shark". The technique entailed aiming a punch at his opponent and then backing up the power of the punch with one of Takashi's white energy blasts. This would effectively act like Takashi had punched twice as much and combined with the sub-ability of his Shikai which was to drastically increase the power of his punches the technique was quite formidable, assuming it hit of course.

The stuff got into Zilo eyes. As he got them cleaned he looked back up at the shinigami to see that he had sent a blast at him. He pulled up his sword and defend the blast in time but was sent back a good 100 feet or so. He was made he did such dirty trick. He disappeared and appeared right behind the shinigami about 13 feet away and said "Graici cero" He held up both hands and fired two Graici ceros at him.

Takashi was at a loss for words at the effectiveness of his own attack, "Well it appears he was able to avoid the first punch but at least the energy blast got him" Takashi whispered. "Time to switch into part 2 of the plan" Takashi thought to himself and when he felt the Arrancar building up twice as much Reiatsu as he had been doing to launch his favorite Cero like attack Takashi knew the plan was a good one. Takashi took off in the forwards direction but the moment before he took off Takashi slapped his hands together and shouted "Sekienton", with the 27th Bakudo's name recited a huge cloud of smoke erupted the point where Takashi's hands had met thus for the most part hiding Takashi away as he utilized shunpo to run. And while utilizing Shunpo Takashi whispered "Kyokko" For the second time that day and the 26th Bakudo hid both Takashi and his Reiatsu from being detected. With that Takashi had effectively turned himself from not visile target to an invisible target within the span of but a moment.

"Okay, It worked now to finish this fight up" Takashi thought and he began to charge up his Reiatsu, which was still undetectable by the Arrancar. From his safe spot 50 feet to the left and ten feet up Takashi was charging up for his strongest attack of the day.

Zilo started to feel pain more then ever. He was tired he didn't want to keep going but he had too. he decided to aim where he saw the man and straight ahead of him. He released his form. And said "Dragon Cero." (Dragon cero has 100 strength muahahah >:D) He then lost his form and fell to the ground stabbing his sword in it hoping that was enough to defeat the shinigami. He never had someone make him go all the way to dragon cero and hope to win. He spat out blood and continued to look ahead his visoon was getting blurry.

Takashi was off guard, there was no doubt about it, while he had planned to run away it seemed as if everything the Arrancar had done but a few moments ago had been completely forgotten by he himself and instead he had transformed into his powerful of forms and was ready to do all he could to defeat Takashi with what Takashi saw as his most powerful manuever. "Only one thing to do in a situation like this" Takashi thought to himself, while he was still invisible Takashi spoke those words that he hoped would allow him to make it out of the battle alive. "Haoto, In'intaru Hoshi Fuka" and with that, while he was still invisible Takashi took on his Bankai form. The force of the Reiatsu was more than the Bakudo spell could handle and it broke apart revealing Takashi, in his golden armor. The armor seemed to shimmer in the sunlight as if it were some sort of morphed holy grail, and although the face was nowhere to be seen it was easy to guess Takashi's expression, determined and willing to push himself beyond his limitations. The clutches that operated to make sure the helmet of the armor stayed secured were standing tall as Takashi flowed the majority of his remaining reiatsu into the right fist of his armor. "ARMSTRONG CANNON" He let loose the yell and the Reiatsu at once, and the energy blast clashed with the Arrancar's sending Takashi flying backwards a good thirty feet. As he rolled Takashi's Armor worked to cushion the fall but as soon as he stopped Takashi felt his Bankai slip away from him. "Only one thing left to do I suppose" Takashi whispered to himself as he struggled to his feet. "LETS END IT!" Takashi shouted to the Arrancar who was kneeling roughly twenty feet from Takashi.

Zilo had struggled to his feet and smiled at the man. His dark reiatsu started to surround him and his sword. "Lets end this sihinigami." He charged at him with all the force he had left. This is it one of us wll fall one of us will win as far as i am concerened i gave him a good battle too bad i used most of my energy in normal form and couldn't have shown him my ultimate power.

His knees wobbled horribly as he attempted to get back to his full height, his hair was drenched with sweat and he felt what could not have been but blood begin to drip down from the crown of his head down the side of his cheek. "He still has the energy to do something like that" Takashi whispered as he caught sight of the Arrancar charging his blade with his reiatsu, his voice was a bit horse because of the sore throat of shouting and his Tanto was the only thing he was able to hold firm. Takashi copied the Arrancar's example and soon enough his blade too was glowing, though his was a much bright orange shade. "Good fight Arrancar. Hope we can meet again, maybe, as friends next time" Takashi attempted to shout, it came out as more of a croak though. Running forwards to meet the Arrancar however Takashi did something rather different than the arrancar. Dropping his Tanto Takashi had dtransferred the stored Reiatsu into his right hand. Now raising the hand Takashi dropped his stance so that he was lower and lashed out with his fist, aiming at the arrancar's stomach. "It takes longer for a blade to travel down than for a Hakuda specialist's fist to travel straight" Takashi thought to himself.

Zilo smiles and says "boo and appears on the other side of him." He coughs up blood. He was wondering if that siko hit him if it didn't then he was a lousy at a slicing shot and was smiling and looked at the Shinigami.

While Takashi was surprised indeed by the sudden movement of the Arrancar he was not surprised that the arrancar had moved. He was surprised he was stll so fast considering just moments before he had been on his knees half unconsicous. Bending backwards as he had seen in a human movie Takashi lashed out with his fist, now it was up to fate to determine who would hit first. "Lets see how fate decides. My fist or your Sword, which is stronger Arrancar" Takashi asked Rhetorically.

Zilo couldn't believe the man was able to bend backwards there was a giant explosion when the dust cleared Zilo was 50 feet away from where he had originially been sitting coughing up blood. He couldn't even stand up. He was surprise he had that much power left to block the siko H sat up barely too see where the men was.

As the explosion occured Takashi closed his eyes against the bright light that was produced by the contrasting powers. Skidding along the ground Takashi didn't even have the energy left to stand so when he finally stopped skidding roughly fifty feet from where he had been moments before Takashi struggled onto one elbow and caught sight of the Arrancar. "Nice move there pal. But I think thats it. Neither of us is getting back up, that much is certain. That last move sucked out everything I have and I can barely even feel you over there" Takashi shouted through his sore throat.

"yes....it did....Im sorry i couldn't show you a truly great fight against a arrancar release form....." Zilo said starring a the shinigami hoping that he did make him waste to move energy.

Takashi's sore throat was really starting to bother him a bit so instead of responding he merely started blank at the Arrancar before reaching out and resheathing his Zanpakutou that had luckily been blown in the same direction as him via the explosion that had come about from his and the Arrancar's contrasting reiatsu's. "Quite lucky considering all the possible directions that this thing could have flew" Takashi thought to himself. Takashi was quite the sight to behold considering that he was a captain. Takashi's Haori had long since been destroyed through out the course of the battle and his Hosode had begun falling apart after had attempted to block the Arrancar's Cero the first time. Now he was dressed only within the bottom of his Hosode, though the right leg had also been destroyed. Takashi's face had quite the bit of blood on it, some having leaked from the cut along the bridge of his nose and the rest from both splatter and from the top of his head, which had stopped bleeding though it was still quite painful. "All things considered I did pretty well and it HAS been a while since I fought someone who was up to my level and this gentlemen is most definitely at least up to my level if not higher" Takashi thought as he continued to keep his eyes glued to the Arrancar, just in case he pulled anything sneaky.
