Fighting Hollows [open]

Yuki stood perched on the edge of a roof. She had been following her hollow tracker for nearly fifteen minutes now, tracking a particuarly elusive hollow, but now as she waited for the signal to be picked up again she sensed the faint trace of reiatsu in the air, near the park. It was evening time, with the dusk of night falling slowly illuminating everything in a light produced by a combination of the sun and the moon - it wouldn't be long before it was just the moon that was the sole source of light though. She jumped down smoothly from the roof and shunpoed to the park, making as little noise as possible and keeping her reiatsu controlled so it felt barely there. I'll take it by surprise, she thought as her left hand dropped down to the hilt of her zanpakuto.

When she reached her destination she appeared behind the hollow, and in that same instance she drew her Dick and swung it downwards in a great arc, slashing the tough skin. However, as her Dick made contact the hollow twisted its body so that clawed talons gripped the metal and before she knew what was happening she was being flung through the air. Doing a semi-flip so as to keep er footing, Yuki landed in a crouched position a few feet away. Her eyes widened ever so slightly as more hollow seemed to just appear, surrounding her. Was this... Was this a trap? That thought sat sourly in her mind, because the very thought of being outsmarted by a mere hollow was an insult to her intelligence. However, the situation at hand was not ideal, but she could handle it. Standing up she raced at the nearest hollow and slashed before twirling to get the next one. She twirled and danced with a deadly grace around the monsters, cutting them and slashing them, making use of her superior speed. Her mind didn't even process the fact that any of the hollows had yet to die.

Just as she was about to strike another hollow she felt her blade being wrenched from her hands to clatter uselessly away from her, a wall of hollows beteen herself and her other half. Her eyes calculated every possible opening for a split second before she dodged out of the way of a large hand that sweeped down to knock her over. It was ridiculous! She had the superior speed and strength, but the mindless hollows still had the advantage just because there were more of them. If she dodged one she had to twist away from two more that tried to get her. It would be tough getting out of this situation, and she had to ask herself how had she allowed herself to get into this situation in the first place?

Neliel was bored and wanted to go to the park when she sensed the reiatsu of a Shinigami and at first one hollow. But the hollows seemed to just show up rapidly, dozens of them in fact. Neliel decides to help out and see if this Shinigami is nice or not. Sonidoing into the midst of them Neliel grabs on of them and slams him into several others. They go flying like toys and Neliel continues using the last lethal attacks she can since she doesn't want to kill them. She knows that Shinigami can soul bury them with the blades of their zanpokutous and such she wants to make sure they attain a new start i Soul Society. Neliel sees a zanpokutou and sonidos to it and almost succeeds in picking it up, but a hollow kicks it away.

She sonids to it's new position and barely gets it when a big hollow hits her on the head. Neliel sighs and swats the hand away from her, looking around she sees the Shinigami and sonidos in front of her handing the zanpokutou to her. Neliel smiles and blocks the attack of a hollow who tries to get past her. Neliel's hollow mask gives away the fact she isn't a Shinigami, when Neliel turns her back her 3 tattoo is exposed for a moment. Her zanpokutou rests in it's sheath on her hip with a new strap made by Kisuke Urahara. "Let's send them to Soul Society so they can find peace okay?" Neliel looks at Koori again, her brown eyes looking at her like an alliy. Neliel pulls Gamuza to to defend Koori when needed however she does not intend to hit the with the edge or tip of her zanpokutou. These low level hollows would be destroyed and lose any chance or attaining peace in Soul Society.

Suddenly, a blur of white passed every hollow that remained. Within seconds all of their heads were cut off cleanly. The savior then appeared as it eyed it's deceased prey. It was a male white wolf that resembled Amaterasu. The wild beast walked away and started to feast on the hollows he had just slain to protect the Shinigami. However, Koga had been starving and he also needed to become stronger. The wolf then turned into a very strong and attractive teenage male. "Lady Neliel, how have you been? I've heard you've been around helping Mr. Urahara, but it's an honor nonetheless." Koga said calmly and respectfully to Neliel, having the utmost respect for her.

Sighing gently as Sia walked from a gardina planning to take a scroll around Karakura town & maybe watch the moon for abit. She senced afew other beings nearby but soon ignored it as she jumped along trees & soon onto a large building looking out to Karakura town. Ever sence that she heard that Kazuma might be a shinigami, she thought she might want to be visiting abit avery couple of days or so to try & catch him on the 1/100 chance that she might. Sighing gently she stood on the building watching over the humans, who walked almost aimlessly below her. Holding out a single hand afew black rose pedals swarmed towards her hand & soon molded together as a silver flute. Hopeing to have something else to do then just wait, she brought the flute up to her lips & began playing a soft slow melody with it causeing the wind in the area to pick up suddenly but not enough to cause any damage. Her silver hair flew along with the wind as she played & her dress drifted softly to the side as she closed her eyes continueing to play the soft melody.

Yuki kicked a hollow in the chest, concentrating her reiatsu around her foot to make the impact more powerful. She tried to fight her way over to her Dick but she just felt as though she was losing ground rather than gaining it. Fighting hand-to-hand was efficient but not nearly as effective as Dick-fighting, but she didn't have time to worry about that.

Suddenly Yuki's keen senses pick up on an unfamiliar reiatsu a split second before a group of hollows went flying like pins in a bowling alley, with another hollow being the bowling ball. However, Yuki couldn't afford to divert any of her attention the newcomer, that is until the person helping her, a female with green hair, appeared in front of her, handing her back Touketsu Suru Hi. She inclined her head in gratitude as she took it, making a mental note to thank this person later, even though she was obviously an arrancar due to her broken mask perched atop her head. Yuki felt her eyes widen ever slightly when she saw the number '3' on her back - so not just an arrancar but an espada; a very strong espada. The girl said that they should send the hollows to Soul Society, and without waiting to be told a second time Yuki slashed at the hollows using advanced swordsmanship skills.

The two fought side-by-side, though Yuki noticed that the arrancar held back a bit on the weaker hollows - probably leaving them for Yuki so they could be purifyed. Then a white blur appeared killing the remaining hollow. Yuki's face remained emotionless as the white blur turned out to be a wolf that appeared to be feasting on the hollow. While the wolf did that, and Yuki couldn't help but feel that it was slightly random for a wolf - a white wolf - to just be in Karakura Town and could see Hollow, and also liked to eat them, Yuki turned to the girl with the green hair, sheathing her Dick as she did so.

"Thank you for that, I'm sure the results of that fight may have been different if you hadn't turned up. My name is Koori Yuki and I'm a shinigami, Captain of the Tenth division. It was irresponsible of me to have let myself - a captain no less - to allow myself to be in that position of vulnerability, but it happened and I am very grateful for your help." She gave a very small bow of respect to the the girl.

Suddenly the wolf was not much of a wolf any more, but rather a teenage human. This made his appearance a lot less random considering he wasn't an actual wolf. A human with powers? First time meeting one of those, she thought to herself as he made conversation with the other female, who she now new to be Neliel. Yuki walked over, feeling the need to thank this strange human as well.

"Thank you for your help in dealing with those hollow, it was much appreciated." She once more gave another small, respectful bow.

"There is no need to thank me Captain Yuki. It's my duty to aid Shinigami. Besides, hollows are my main source of nutrition and strength. Hollows are the only thing that will quench my primal thirst for flesh and blood, and they help me to become stronger." Koga responded to Yuki calmly, not wanting her to thik that she owed him anything.

Yuki listened to the wolf-human explain a bit about his powers, finding it extremely fascinating that he actually ate hollows for a source of nutrition and strength - just what type of human was he?

"Well regardless of that, I still thank you. Though I must say your ability to transform into a wolf is very interesting, as is the fact that you eat them - almost like how a hollow eats another hollow. What is your name?"

"It's Koga Amaterasu. I'm Okami Amaterasu's descendent." Koga replied calmly to the Shinigami. She was probably surprised that he was a descendend of the great mother of all living things.

Yuki kept her face free of any emotion that may betray her thoughts but in her head her mind was surprised, and if not a little confused. I new I recognised the name Amaterasu before, she thought to herself. [/i]But how is that possible?[/i]

"It's nice to meet you Koga. I need to go now, but maybe we'll see each other again someday." She highly doubted it - she didn't ge that many trips to the human world - but you never know. She turned to Nel.

"Good bye Neliel." After the goodbyes were said Yuki shunpoed away from the park to continue her vigilant post over the town in case more hollows appeared. In the morning she would be able to be releaved and go back to Soul Society.

Sia opened her eyes widely as she senced afew beings under her with a decent amount of spirit pressure. Placeing the flute to her side she sat down & watched them kill the hollow. Turning her head slightly looking to a human looking man, she was abit confused senceing some spirit pressure within it also. Frowning slightly watching them she stood back up & began looking to the sky daydreaming. She was surprized they did not sence her, let alone not attacking her. She was glad about this, but at the same time abit dissapointed & wondering why. Sighing gently makeing up her mind she sat down on the cement of the roof & layed down on it looking to the sky.

Yuki had hadn't travelled too far away from the park when she felt a small undercurrent of reiatsu. She had felt it earlier when she had been in the middle of fighting the hollows, but she hadn't been able to focus on it. Now that she thought back on it, she had also heard the soft sounds of music coming from the same direction. Curious, Yuki changed direction to head towards the mysterious reiatsu, and the closer she got to it the more it felt like a hollow - no, it was more powerful than a hollow, so it was probably an arrancar. Moving her hand to the hilt of her zanpakuto she got ready to engage in another fight. Landing lightly on the cement of a rooftop, Yuki saw the arrancar laying down looking up at the sky. Her appearance was ver unusual, but Yuki ignored it and instead kept her guard up as she took a few steps closer until she was only a few feet away.

Still laying down on the cement she sat up slightly pulling up her knees & soon wrapped her arms around them before turning her haed slightly to the shinigami who approached her. Studying her closely for a second afterwards she turned her head back to the sky. Sighing gently closeing her eyes afew seconds after this she spoke, "I do not come here to fight..." she bagan, "I only wanted to look to the sky; & mabie find a old freind of mine." opening her emerald eyes after this she turned her head to her seeing her hand on the hilt of her zanpaktou, "But, I will not allow myself to be killed for no apparent reason..." keeping her emerald eyes on the female she waited for a responce while studying her throughly watching for what she was going to do.

Yuki locked eyes with the emerald eyed arrancar and listened as she spoke about not wanting to fight and wanting to look at the sky. Though she did notice that the other girl wasn't stupid and still acted cautiously around her, her hand on her zanpakuto. Yuki didn't understand - she thought all arrancar liked killing, not... looking at the sky. It was curious to say the least.

"I see." Going against all her instincts that told her to turn around and leave, or dispose of this arrancar, she instead found herself inching foward slowly so as not to startle the other. She then sat down a fair distance away, but close enough for it to be deemed sitting in the arrancar's company. For some reason the idea of killing her made her feel bad - like she was killing a human.

"You're not like other arrancar I've met, you seem different. Do all arrancar have different personalities - like humans?" She didn't understand why she wanted to know, but for some reason she felt so curious.

Balzar was looking for Ichigo Kurosaki maybe this wasn't the right approach at all and perhaps maybe fate wasn't going too well. Uryu did say something about this Ichigo having friends within the Soul society yet he been there only once. He started walking until some weird energies caught his attention could these be the people called shinigami. Something else was there something Urahara warn him about these arrancar some monsters who found a way to turn human like. If he was going to find Ichigo Kurosaki these would be the people who might lead him to him, this must be his lucky day. He didn't catch much of their conservation it was their business anyway. "Alright, I'm on the right path here if one of theme knows Ichigo....then finding him won't be a problem anymore" He said. Balzar backs away a bit looking at them with binoculars thinking that playing a super spy was going to be a little fun.

This won't be easy they might want to know what Balzar business with Ichigo and he didn't want these shinigami or arrancars to know. He couldn't deal with those problems right now finding where this Kurosaki was his top priority.

Sighing gently still looking to the sky listing to the female she closed her emerald eyes once more before streightening her neck then saying, "I guess you may say that... It actually depends on our aspect of death.. Rage... Pain... Wealth.. Hate.. Streignth... Even war. I could list hundreds of aspects, but I really do not want to. But, Mine is sacrifice." sighing gently she opened her eyes again & looked to a child playing in the road. Turning her head slightly to a black car that was heading directly to the boy a small gust of wind burst towards the boy with afew black rose pedals. Completely going through him like a goast it pushed him to the side to where the car would not hit him. "See..? I mean no harm..." she soon closed her eyes again with her head down slightly as if she was praying.

Yuki watched in curiosity as the strange arrancar saved the young boy from being hit by a car. She gazed out at the stars without really seeing them and couldn't elp but feel that this was the strangest moment in her life - if somebody had told her yesterday that she would be sitting on a roof talking to an arrancar in this way she would have said they were crazy. But talking to this person she felt as though all her preconseived perceptions on hollows were wrong. But I guess it makes sense, she thought quietly tpo herself. Hollows and arrancar were once humans as well. She turned her head back to te othe person on the roof.

"My name is Koori Yuki, what's yours?"

As Yuki waited for a reply her muscles suddenly tensed as she got the unnerving feeling that she was being watched. She her eyes quickly scanned the night sky before she pin-pointed the location of the spy. Her dark brown eyes locked onto a pair of binoculars held by a young man with brown hair.
