Shikai Ability: Kasaihoi-rumaru's spirit is a winged Chinese dragon made of fire, while in the Zanpakutō Unknown Tales
anime arc it takes the form of a amnesic man with long red hair and a red x-shaped scar on his face, being calm and quiet most of the time. Kasaihoi-rumaru allows Kusanagi to control fire and steam. The slashes created by Kasaihoi-rumaru gives off an immense amount of spirit power which overflows from the tip of the blade, creating a flow of fire vaguely shaped like Kasaihoi-rumaru's dragon spirit. The dragon flies at opponents and instantly burns anything it touches. The chain-blade also burns anything Kusanagi traps with it.

Bankai: kashou mai teki reikon, Kasaihoi-rumaru causes fire to flow from Kasaihoi-rumaru onto Kusanagi, forming into two large wings, a tail, guards over her feet in the shape of dragon claws, and twelve large flower petals. Kusanagi's bankai will fade when all twelve petals disappear and that Kusanagi's bankai is incomplete due to her young age.

Bankai Ability:

Hinote Arashi: Kasaihoi-rumaru is able to create a firestorm over 200 yard radius causing intense heat of unimaginable temperatures. All materials not made from spirit particles instantly burst into flame and materials made of spirit particles hold up longer but may burst into flames as well.

Hanone Moui: Kasaihoi-rumaru is able to launch up to 10 attacks in rapid succession duplicating the attack from it's shikai form only 3 times stronger and bigger.

Kashou Hasu: Kasaihoi-rumaru can create a giant fire flower consisting of one million petals. When all of the petals are formed they begin to fall off. When the last petal falls who ever was trapped inside will either be dead or seriously injured. Those with enough reiatsu can lesson or nullify the amount of damage taken.

Enkou Mokushi: Kasaihoi-rumaru's strongest technique is a large area effect that causes flames to expand in cone for over 400,000 yards. Temperatures reach over 4 million degrees incinerating practically everything caught in it.
