Inoue's Training session (Private inoue, and light only)

Yangu led inoue through the streets of karakura town, winding down backroads and short-cuts finally coming to a stop in front of a big warehouse, He stepped forward and a yellow barrier formed, he stepped through it and motioned for inoue to do the same, he opened the big doors and closed them behind inoue, the place was deserted except for a black haired person sleeping on a makeshift bed,"OI YANGU,IM HOME!!!" light yelled, the only sign that Yangu had heard him was the fact he raised his right hand and flipped light off,"yea whatever go back to sleep then ya lazy ass,anyway this way orhime" light said as he led inoue down a flight of stairs and into a large underground training area, "so ready to train" light said as he popped a little green pill and his true form seperated from the gigai, he looked almost exactly the same except he now had a sword hanging from his waist which he drew and took a defensive stance

Orihime nods and goes into a defensive stance ready to start with Santen Kesshun followed by Koten Zanshun. Orihime does her best to prepare herself mentally by remembering how she stood up to Grimmjow in Hueco Mundo. Although somehow she doesn't exactly feel as nervous as she did back than.

light seeing that she's ready releases his zanpactou, "let the light guide you, Awai Ukiyo" light said as his zanpactou became pure white,"we're gonna start off easy so i can gauge your abilties, Awai Yaiba" he said as a sword made of solid light formed in front of him, he grabbed it and swung at inoue, not aiming for any vitals just checking her reflexes

Orihime dodges the attack is headed by leaping leaping in the same direction the attack us headed and backwards at the same time. Having trained with Rukia for a month she had gotten used to dodging zanpkoutou's although she figures that eventually Light will be attacking her using more force and skill than Rukia ever did considering her training only lasted a month. But she knows that she should be able to improve quite a bit despite everyone wondering where she disappeared to.

"good you can dodge well, that was about 50% speed, i probably could have bumped it up to 65 or 70 and you would have still dodged without a scratch, it seems you've already had experience against zanpactou, lets see how you do when i abandon my main blade" Light said as he stuck his zanpactou into the ground , and formed another blade of light which he took in his other hand, he slashed at inoue with both blades in a "x" like pattern, the right coming first the left after

Orihime sees the new attack and turns to her left leaping into the air head first and rolls onto her feet running trying to get to Light's left side knowing he is probably going to turn to continue facing her. The look on her face clearly shows she had anticipated anything like that.

"you can dodge that's good, but you cant just dodge and expect to win you have to attack or at least block" Light said as his first blade faded, so he made another and grabbed it taking another dual swing at inoue, wondering how she would React this time

Orihime stands her ground "Santen Kesshun I reject[/color.", three blurs of energy fly from orihime's hairpins causing an orange shield shaped like a triangle spirals into existence in front of her. The attack collides with the shield and Orihime decides to see how she can fair against Light. "color=orange]Tsubaki, Koten Zanshun I reject!" Tsubaki flies out of her hairpins and circles her head two time than flies out at Light before the shield collapses, Tsubaki aims at Lights stomach at hig speed but Orihime is only thinking about training not actual combat so Tsubaki isn't even at 20% strength.

"Awai Hane" Light said as a Pair of white wings made of the same light as the blades formed on his backed and quickly wrapped around him blocking tsubaki, he jumped back as the wings assumed a normal position behind him, "good if it wasn't for my Awai Hane, he would either connected or i would have dodged, lets keep at it light said as he formed two new blades and grabbed them and he swung at inoue multiple times with either blade

Orihime tries to maintain her shield for as long as she can while having Tsubaki attack at the same time. The shield survives no more than four attacks at a time due to her losing concentration periodically. Mostly because she is worried about Tsubaki which irritates him to no end. This i something he makes rather clear as he yells at her almost constantly.

light's wings faded and he smacked tsubaki with the blunt side of one his blades, and jumped back ceasing his attacks,"you guys need to stop arguing, if your going to be successful you need to fight together, not each other, Tsubaki you need to stop yelling at her and inoue you need to concentrate, it took around four attacks to break your barrier, and im barley at half strength,either co-operate or lose any chance of ever winning a fight" light said as he let his blades fade, and walked over to his zanpactou picked it up and jumped at inoue swinging for her face.

Orihime sees Light swing his zanpokutou at her face momentarily stunned by this sight Orihime looks as if she is going to be hit, but Tatsuke's training kicks in and Orhime drops tot the ground performing a leg sweep followed by an attempt to grapple and pummel Light in hand to hand combat.

Light see's her duck but doesn't have time to move, her leg catches his and he drops, but he catches himself on his hands and performs a backflip to get away leaving his zanpactou where ever it fell, he landed on his feet after the backflip, and said "Lucky for you, that you dodged because that was a kill shot, sadly though you didnt do as i hoped, this training is to help develop your abilities not train your hand-to-hand combat skills, next time either block or use tsubaki to interupt my attacks, because a fist may work on humans, but an arrancar will just kill you if you try it". he formed to blades of light in his hands leaving his zanpactou on the ground he jumped at inoue again resuming the attacks

Orihime throws up her shield and is forced into backing up slowly. She starts getting a little upset at herself for backing up. In the back of her mind she can hear Tatsuke's voice telling her to be more aggressive, she tries digging deep into herself to find any sort of inner strength. Her fear reveals itself as she hears Ayame "Your fear is understandable, but to be strong you need to be able to over come it. Fear is normal but it can't rule you. True strength belongs to those who can overcome their fear and fight anyway, Ichigo needs your help so overcome your fear and show him how much he means to you." Orihime's eyes give off a slight glow but barely noticeable as her shield's strength increases slightly, Tsubaki starts flying at Light again only this time he is at 55%. Orihime's shield shows signs of cracking but it somehow seems to be holding up even though every hit causes it to crack more.

"Awai Hane" Light said again as wings of light formed and blocked tsubaki again however this time, a small crack formed on the left wing, light held close to inspect it, seeing the crack he became quite happy, he held up his hands to show inoue to stop fighting for a moment, and showed her the crack while saying,"that is a crack in my wing, only three people have ever made a crack in my wings and two of them are my brothers, the third... well only three have ever cracked one of my wings, and even though i was onyl at half strength there, i still never imagined tsubaki would be able to do that" he finished as he jumped back again regaining his fighting stance and forming two new blades to fight with

Orihime decides to try harder and with a small sense of accomplishment her resolve grows a bit causing her reiatsu to increase a fair amount. She throws up the shield and Tsubaki resumes attacking as often as he can while dodging attacks aimed at him. Orihime knows she has to improve in order to be more effective, although her personality doesn't seem to be changing she feels less powerless for some reason. Although she knows that things aren't easy to change. Right now it would only take one really bad event to undo what she has accomplished. Orihime's eyes give off a faint orange glow that is difficult to notice unless you pay really close attention.

as tsubaki started at the attacks light's wings faded, light dodged most of tsubaki's attacks while maintaining, a rhythm of attacks on inoue's shield, a few attacks grazed his arms and legs nothing serious just a few scratches really, nothing he wasn't used to

Orihime's shield seems to be doing much better as the cracks are getting smaller now. She starts feeling a bit more capable than she used to, but she knows she still has a long way to go before she can hope to fight Espada if ever. Although even if she is never strong enough to fight Espada, she at least wants to be on or near the front lines to help Ichigo directly. Orihime starts feeling a bit stronger on the inside, like someone turned on a light switch. Although she still prefers to hurt no one, she has started learning that it is something that has to be done sometimes to prevent many people from being hurt. How ever this lesson is likely one that will take many times learning before it sinks in permanently. Tsubaki's attacks raise to 66% of his current strength. He is also learning how to dodge better as his view point starts changing to to include indirect attacks.

Light was finding it harder to maintain the rhythm of attacks, as tsubaki was hitting his mark more often, it wasn't until a particularly deep cut formed that Light decided to make it a bit harder for him to get through, :awai Ukiyo" he said as a third blade formed and instantly started to block most of tsubaki's attacks, he was still getting through, but they were few and far between, light then resumed his attacks on the shield bumping it up to 60 percent strength.

Orihime's shield begins to crack more than it did before Light started her training. She knows this is a bad sign and tries to concentrate harder, she tries to raise her reiatsu which meets with marginal success. She knows Ichigo and the others need help and if anything keeps Soul Society from being able to lend back up it is only her and the Vaizards who can give the help. Orihime pushes herself to get stronger and imagines life if Ichigo decided to marry her. Her resolve grows and her eyes take on an orange glow making her reiatsu increase almost enough to be 3rd seat in a division. Tsubaki begins to feel happy as his strength increases to almost 80%. Orihime's shield almost restores itself but still shows signs of damage.

Light noticed that her shield was getting stronger and tsubaki was getting faster, not even the third blade was doing much to hold him back anymore,"Awai Hane" he said and a pair of wings formed around him again tsubaki connected and bounced off, but not before severing the left wing completly in half, it fell to the floor and faded, light looked very confused about what happened, his wings had been hit by much harder before, even though he was only a 60% that shouldn't have happened, then the blades in his hands and the one holding off tsubaki faded, then he looked at his zanpactou, it was slowly returning to its sealed form, then it hit him, he'd used to many Awai Yaiba's, and Awai Hane's,"hehe sorry bout that inoue, it takes a lot to keep light in a solidified state and i must have overdid it with the attacks,looks like i need to rest for while, but if you still want to train i might be able to find one of my sibling's to help you?" he said kind of embarrassed to have gotten so tired so fast

Orihime looks somewhat sheepish "It's okay I think resting might be a good idea." Orhime smiles and falls on her face completely exhausted. Stubaki, Lilly, Baigon and Hinagiku return to her hairpins. Her breathing is normal and aside from looking a little pale Orihime is unharmed.

"Shit!, inoue are you okay?", light said as he ran over to check on her. she was out cold, light sighed and picked her up and carried her to one of the nearby benches (lifted from an old movie theater lobby, so they were nice and soft), he set her down and took a seat on the floor his back against the bench, and closed his eye's sighing again, deciding that next time he start off easier

Orihime sleeps deeply for awhile having exerted so much effort took more out of her than she thought it had. Orihime slowly wakes up after almost 4 hours of sleep. Shuno and Ayame emerge from her hairpins and offer to replenish her reiatsu faster and Orihime smiles than nods. Shuno and Ayame pass each other and form the the restorative shield around her. "We should restore Lights reiatsu also, he used up as much if not more reiatsu than I did." Suhno and Ayame agree and the restorative shield expands enough to include Light as well. Orihime feels her reiatsu returning at a slightly faster rate.
