| Jessie stalked through Karakura, a slight wind passing her. She jumped from building to building, the night being her camaflouge. She had decided to take a break from the ever so silent nights of Los Noches, and go to the human world. She had only wanted a nice stroll through the town, but had her zanpakuto strapped to her back in case of an attack. | |

| Hitomi had a pretty relaxing mission on this particular night in the human world. Since a recent battle between a hollow and a shinigami partly destroyed a strong barrier around a sealed artifact, a couple of her comrades and a few Kidoushuu members had to come and erect a new one around the area. Her only task was coordinating the work between the two divisions. It sounds nice and complicated, but basically it was nothing more than observing them working. All of them knew what they had to do and they were more than capable of executing their orders without any hitches. So she was just standing around without doing anything useful. It was still better than being in Seireitei though, at least she didn't have to do paperwork or something like that. Hitomi looked up at the starry sky, trying to recognize the constellations when she felt an awkward reiatsu passing by not too far. "Not now, pretty please..." She sighed and immediately called for a backup to act in her place while she's away. "I have to check out something nearby, it might be an arrancar. Stay on alert." Hitomi said to the other shinigami and the lieutenant went off towards the resource of the reiatsu she felt. | |

| Jessie sighed as she felt the reiatsu patterns of more than one shinigami, and she stopped on the building she was on. She took out her zanpakuto, and used sonido to get closer. After a moment, she figured that she could side step the shinigami, and not fight. Especially since she was an Espada, and they were just weaklings. She sheathed her zanpakuto, and used sonido to get past the shinigami. She briefly saw the woman calling in back up, but she simply jumped to the building near the side of her. If she was going to attack she would fight, but she didn't want to waste her precious time dealing with, as the fourth Espada had repeatedly said, trash. | |

| Hitomi felt the reiatsu getting closer to her. She had to stop it from possibly discovering the artifact. It was sealed for a reason, even though it wouldn't be harmful these days anymore, but with the necessary modifications it could become dangerous to the Soul Society. She sharpened her senses and finally spotted the moving figure, a blonde arrancar. She seemed to try getting past her, maybe she wants to avoid confrontation? No way! The distance between them was large enough to prevent Hitomi from directly attacking, so the lieutenant called for another method: a binding spell. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat! Bakudou no kyuu, Hourin!" She muttered the incantation and yelled the name of the kidou. Suddenly an orange tendril erupted from her fingers aiming to bind the arrancar. Hitomi liked this technique since she was able to control the route of the tendril even after casting the kidou, unlike most other spells. | |

| Jessie's eyes widened as she saw the shinigami whispering to herself. Immediately three options popped into her head, either she was just weird, she was releasing her zanpakuto, or using kido. To get distance she used sonido, to move back a fe more feet. The third option turned out to be correct, and an orange tendril shor out at her. Without thinking she fired her violet cero at it, hoping to destroy it or at least change its course. Immediately after she pulls out her zanpakuto and compresses her reiatsu, "Noche Interminable!". 50 meters around her darkened even more, in an attempt to camaflouge herself while she thought of a strategy. | |

| A weak binding kido like Hourin has no chance against a cero. Once the two techniques made contact, the spell dissolved, rendering Hitomi's attempt unsuccessful. She even had to jump aside to avoid the reiatsu blast. Seeing her failure the vice-captain made a wry face. Hitomi expected her opponent to make a counter-attack, but instead she used some ability to darken the area around themselves. No matter how much she stared at the shadows, she wasn't able to see the arrancar. This made her worry, but she tried to not show it. Maybe the enemy has the same conditions. The shinigami unsheated her sword and shouted towards the point where she last saw the blonde creature. "My name is Sonozaki Hitomi, I'm the lieutenant of he first division. State your name, your rank and your reason to be here!" Hitomi quickly got ready to fend off a possible attack. If the arrancar didn't see her in this darkness either, she just blew her cover. It wasn't neccessarily a bad thing though. By attacking, the opponent would reveal her position too. | |

| She sneered as the woman unsheathed her sword and commanded her to state her facts. She lowered her Noche Interminable, allowing her opponent to see her. She stepped forward, and smiled while lifting her shirt to below her breast where her 9 was placed."Jessie Sombra, Novena Espada, i'm here just to prance around, and I was planning on letting you live. But now it seems that you have proven yourself worthy of staining my blade by being a vice captain," she said with a menacing smile. Waiting for the woman's reaction before moving. (OOC: I'm not declaring a death match so no need to fret ^^) | |

| Hitomi's eyes gained a determined look as she heard the answer. She hoped for a bit weaker opponent, but the lieutenant couldn't back down anymore. She was the strongest shinigami around, therefore it was her duty to take out the espada, even if she was "only" the 9th strongest. "Such confident words from a mere arrancar. You're not the first one who tried to kill me. I won't lose to the likes of you." She said in a cold tone and without any warning she shunpoed behind the woman and attempted to cut her back with a diagonal slash from the left to the right. Hitomi wasn't very skilled at shunpo, so her opponent will probably have more than enough time to react, but the shinigami wanted to stay as close as possible fearing she might lose sight of her opponent again if she tries a long range attack. | |

| Jessie scoffed when she said 'the likes of you', clearly she didn't hear when she announced she was an Espada. When she used shunpo she used her sheath to block the attack, then used Sonido to get a bit of distance. When she did that she unsheathed her sword, and pointed it at the girl. "clearly you didn't hear me, I am an Espada. You are no match for me, but just to make it clear, the gap in power, I will let you hear another name," she siad wickedly. She raises her zanpakuto above her head, and called out it's release. "Obscurezca, Anochecer!". After calling out the name of her zanpakuto, a rush of violet reishi surronded her, and altered her form. She loses the white arrancar outfit entirely changing into a rugged black dress, that curves around her curves. A large cloak also covers her body, almost like a shroud. Wrapped around him entirely it shows how his body has sunken in on itself giving her a skeletal and starved humanoid appearance. Most notably her arms and legs lose shape in the mass of burial shroud envelloping her, suggesting they might be beneath the shroud but wrapped around him. Beneath her right eye a black crescent moon marking appears with black circles at the tip of the moon. Her hollow remains completely disappears in this state. Jessie then points a finger at Hitomi, and glares malevonently "Ensombreza el Teatro!", she says calling out her technique. Her immediate area grows even darker casting a acute cover of darkness for a range of 100 meters. This cover is about 50 meters high aswell and spherical in shape. The area loses most of it's light blocking any light, and it becomes even darker thanks to the night. Thankfully, Hitomi was already in range, so Jessie sinks into her shadows and forms a large lance in her hand. She creeps out to Hitomi's right, and cackles while throwing the shadowy lance. | |

| As expected, Jessie blocked her attack and quickly put some distance between them. The espada's clearly underestimating her, probably thinking that she's just an average lieutenant level, not knowing that she was already nominated to be a captain several times, but Hitomi declined the opportunity.
"I did hear you. Too bad that you can't gauge my power level as I can do, knowing your rank." She answered calmly. The shinigami was a bit surprised to see that her opponent is already releasing her resurrección. Jessie turned into a creepy creature, a fitting appearance to her abilities. When she used her technique, it became crystal clear to Hitomi that the espada is using darkness as her weapon. Confronting her at night definitely gave her the upper hand. It was pitch black around the lieutenant, she couldn't see a thing. At least she could hear the arrancar laughing but the darkness slowed down her movements so despite she suspected that she's been attacked with something, Hitomi couldn't completely dodge and the lance scratched her shoulder. Feeling the pain, she immediately launched upwards, trying to escape the darkness and eventually she managed to leave the area.
"So it's like this..." She whispered to herself seeing the darkened zone below her. "Oborejinu, Kaminami!" Hitomi released her zanpakuto before her opponent could cover her in darkness again. Water rushed out from the guard of the sword, uniting with the blade, making it transparent-looking. Despite the liquid look, it was still as solid as metal. But she still didn't know where was the enemy exactly. "Hadou no sanjuusan, Soukatsui!" She yelled and sent a dozen of weak energy balls into the dark area, trying to discover the location of Jessie. Although the spell didn't give too much light even after exploding on the ground, she still managed to notice something moving around down there. Hitomi immediately swung her sword towards the shadowy figure releasing a huge amount of water. She could only hope that the crushing wave will reach the espada.

| Jessie let out another cackle as her lance snipped the woman's shoulder. She immediately sighed after, as the Hitomi mentioned gauging her power."You haven't even seen power yet!", she shrieked. When she saw the Soukatsui traveling toward her, she created a shield out of shadow and destroyed them. When the wave came, however, she was sent back into the buillding. She grasped her abdomen and cursed. She smiled sadisticly, and formed several spears while entering her theatre to hide her spiritual pressure. After a few moments, she let out most of her body, and threw the six spears toward the lieutenant.

| Hitomi was delighted to see that her attack was successful, it's certainly useful to have such wide attacks when fighting a pretty much invisible opponent. But using something like that had a drawback too: the strength of the wave was significantly weaker without concentrating the water for a pinpoint attack. It seemed her opponent couldn't move the dark area, which meant if she stays out of it, she'll have enough time to react for an incoming attack. At least she hoped so. While thinking, the lieutenant noticed a young shinigami on a nearby roof. He was definitely too close, being able to be caught up in an attack. "Baka, what are you doing there? Stay back!" Hitomi yelled at Yuki. Unfortunately that distraction made her not noticing the incoming spears in time. Her eyes widened and she quickly ordered the water to form a shield before the vice captain, but she was too late. One spear got through and pierced her already injured shoulder. "Damn... it!" Hitomi said while clenching her teeth in pain and she clutched her injured body part. It was high time to become more serious. Long range duels were her speciality after all. She quickly formed a light blue reiryoku rod in her hand and threw it, saying "Bakudou no rokujuuni, Hyapporankan!" The rod disintegrated into countless smaller ones. Hitomi tried to pin her opponent to a building outside the shadowy area with this, if that happens, she can use a full force attack of his shikai. | |

| Jessie notices the shinigami when the lieutenant mentions him, and glares. Silently she raises her palm and sends several spears toward him. She quickly diverts her attention to Hitomi as she sends the purple bakudo rods toward her. Silently cursing, she raises her fists and send bala toward the binding spell. In her haste, she fails to notice the few that slip through and pin her to the building."Baka...Baka...BAKA!" She screamed toward the shinigami, enraged.
With a snap of her fingers her Ensombreza el Teatro falls and the severe darkness vanishes. In her rage, she begins to release her spiritual pressure, effectively crumbling the building she was pinned to."La Sombra Que Agarra!" She calls out the name of her technique, and a pair of shadowy hands stretch out and head toward Hitomi's stomach.

| Hitomi couldn't even wait for her attack to connect, she had to realize that the other shinigami is in danger. Knowing she'll miss the chance to squeeze the espada to the wall of the building, the lieutenant still used shunpo to get between the spears and the boy and shouted "Bakudou no hachijuuichi, Danku!" A rectangular, transparent wall of energy emerged in front of him which then blocked the shadow weapons. Hitomi started to become a little exhausted from using so much kido spells, and also high level ones. On top of that, binding spells which needed more concentration to execute. "Phew, that was close..." She sighed with relief turning his head towards the young shinigami. But before Hitomi could say anything, she felt the increasing spiritual pressure of her opponent. "We'll talk later. Now get away, quickly!" She said, and turned back to see that the dark area has finally gone. The lieutenant however failed to notice the dark hands reaching for her and she got caught by the technique, rendering her unable to move. Hitomi didn't know what's going to happen with her now, but this won't deny her from using her strongest shikai attack. The water from his sword appeared around her and started to rush towards Jessie. Suddenly it turned into a huge swarm of little white needles, all attacking the espada with increased speed aiming at her nerve points. "Shizuku Hari..." Hitomi announced the name of her technique. A successful attack could paralyze the arrancar, and cause disorientation, unconsciousness, numbness and of course extreme pain depending on which nerve points she will hit. Unless she won't dodge them alltogether. | |

| Another vindictive smile appeared on the features of her face, and Jessie quietly cackled again. She prepared to activate her Shadow Theatre again, but the woman had blocked her attack with kido. Out of nowhere she called out another of her zanpakuto's abilities, and thin white needles began to rain upon Jessie. In a quick attempt at retaliation, she fired her violet cero and managed to destroy some. Then they fell into her, and she gasped and fell forward. After a few moments she blinked, there was little pain. Sure it stung, but it was onlyt unpleasent. She smiled, thinking that the attack was weak, when she realized she couldn't get up. Her whole body felt...paralyzed. She let out a shriek of defiance and struggled to regain movement. | |

| What a beautiful night... Mishida thought to himself. He was just chillaxin' on a park bench. His legs stretched out, smoking a blunt. He inhaled the smoke within his nostrils, and just like that it was exhaled.
The simple pleasure he got from just one tiny concoction was immense. However, a mini earthquake manifested, shaking Mishida's side of town. The quake caused the bount to fall from the bench, landing on the back of his head. Quickly he got on his feet, facing the direction of where the earthquake had came from.
He wasn't high, or at lest, he thought he wasn't. No. There was no mistaking it. That earthquake was real. Realer than the pain that he felt in the back of his head. His doll, The Hyena, firmly placed between his belt loop to the side, started to glow for a quick moment before reverting back to its usual black color.
Uh oh....that means trouble. Well I guess I could investigate, see what's up. Mishida thought to himself. Taking the next train the Bount boarded it until it reached its second stop, which was right under the action. The bount, bored out of his mind, sat on the sidewalk. He rolled out another blunt before lighting it.
He shot some shotguns as he examined the two femme fatales duke it out. He smirked as he was discerning which one looked better. Though hopefully, they wouldn't start coming after him.
