Personality:
Kaimei is very outgoing when he gets into a conversation. He loves to joke around, and gets in trouble over it sometimes. His favorite thing to do is to sleep, but when he's not doing that, he's with his friends. It's practically all he does, besides his job of course, which is working at the academy. He holds the same on the battlefield. He is always conscious of the whereabouts of his friends and subordinates. Loyalty is another big thing to him. Without his loyalty, he has nothing, or at least that is what it seems like to him. He has many friends all over seireitei, and likes to hang out with them when he has a chance, which isn't often. His favorite hobby is to hang out with friends, even if they are from Rukongai.
He loves to fight just as much, however little he may get to battle. His kidou is what he loves to use the most, however little he may use them in battle. This also comes in handy when working with students in the academy. Kidou is one of the things that most people have trouble with, so knowing this really helps him out when he is working.
Obeying orders is also one of the things that he always does, even though sometimes he doesn't like it. There is, however, that special occasion when he must disobey orders to do something important to him. If he says he'll do something, then he'll do it. That is because he is stubborn, or determined, whichever way you want to look at it.
He always tries his best to use manners when talking to important people, but sometimes he can't help himself and must talk like he does with his friends. His tone is rarely bitter towards an ally, if he is angry with an enemy though he will get fairly aggressive towards them.
If he decides that you aren't worth the trouble to fight, he'll just leave you alone and let someone else worry about you. This is one of his downfalls because if he is all alone he may leave the enemy to do some destruction before realizing that no one else is going to do something. That's why he is rarely allowed a solo mission. Even if the opponent isn't worthy, to defend his allies he will go and kill without any trouble or conversation. He'll do that even if the opponent isn't worthy. He is usually sent out with people of the same strength as him though, so they usually don't need help. If he decides you are worthy to fight him, he'll wait for you to do some damage, analyze the data he got in his head, and use that to defeat you, even if he has to get more during the fight. He isn't, however, the strongest and gets in over his head sometimes. Needing help isn't something he likes to accept, but it drives him to do better in the future, determined not to have to accept aid again.
Usually, in a conversation, he'll come up with good ideas, but sometimes he wont say anything to let other people get some ideas in. If they ask him, however, he will answer them without hesitation, unless its personal or they don't need to know something. He also, for some reason, hates sitting cross legged, and always sits in a different position from that one. He hates sake or any other type of alcohol. It clouds his mind which is something he absolutely hates. He also wont usually do anything besides his duties when he has them, even if they are long term ones. Once his mind is set, it's set for good.
Appearance:
Kaimei is still young, so he retains the look of that of a teenager. He has no blemishes on his face, nor does he anywhere else on his body. The color of his skin is light peach, and he doesn't get tan, so he's usually like this. The color of his hair is such a dark brown that at times it can seem black, and it's very thick and somewhat long as well. His hair is straight, but has tiny curls on the bottoms, which makes you wonder if he tries to straighten it. There isn't much he can do with his hair besides wear it down. It's not long enough to do anything else. When it is down, it covers his ears and the back of his neck, but stops at the collar of his outfit. In the front, it stops just above his glasses. Kaimeis glasses are special made glasses, made by himself of course. He mixed his reiatsu into them, giving them special abilities. The lenses are obviously clear, and the sides are a crystal blue, the color of his zanpakuto. You can usually see him wearing his glasses down lower than most. Ice blue is the color of his eyes. They aren't evil looking, but they can be intimidating if you look straight into them. His jaw is round, and not clefted. It makes a sharp angle similar to that of a V, but rather than coming to a point it's slightly curved. He has connected earlobes, which, in case you didn't know, means that your earlobes are connected to your face and not just hanging there. White teeth are something that bugs him as well, so of course his are as white as they get. Also, his lips are somewhat full, but not big and poofy like the others in his family. His nose is somewhat small, but it does not seem so small that it doesn't fit with his face. It has a small curve in it, and the bridge is straight, without a bump in it. It comes to a somewhat rounded point, but is still pointy. His cheek bones are not high, but not low, they are hust in the middle, which makes his look perfect for him.
The outfit he wears is that of the regular lieutenant, black with white stripes on the edges of the outfit. He loves the looseness of the outfit, especially the arms. They never hinder his ability, and are great to help cool off in the middle of a battle. The pants are just tight enough that they wont fly all over the place and show his anklet that he hides there. His necklace of pure crystal hangs on the inside of his shirt where nobody can see it. His bracelet is showing, but not his anklet. His scabbard is on his left side, so it's easier for him to grab it when taking it out. Personally, he doesn't like long sleeved tops, so he wears short sleeved ones which allows you to see his tattoo that runs up his arm. The tattoo is that of a dragon flying around, the color of icy blue of course, to match the rest of him. That tattoo is on his left arm. On his right arm is a black rose, spiraling up his arm to have it end at his neck on the right side. His bracelet is located on his left wrist, and his anklet on his right ankle. His muscles are big, but they do not bulge. Although, you can tell that he has them.and the captain robe for 7th Division.
Sealed Zanpakutô :
When sealed, Tsumetai Gyoushi has a black hilt with a silver crescent moon on one side. The blade is about two feet long, and is about three inches wide, and a quarter inch thick. Also, the blade is a light gray, with a black streak in the middle. The tip of the blade is pointed, and both sides are sharp, making the sword dangerous.

Spirit Description:
The ice dragon looks upon and resides in a world filled with ice all over. The dragon seems to be in the air most of the time is clearly likeable with Kaimai.
Inner World:
The world that the ice dragon lives in is covered with ice. It is very slippery but the dragon seems to be in the air most of the time then lan.d The world has freezeing temepertures whioch puts shocks down on Kaimei's spine.

Shikai Appearance:
After the sword has been released, it has an icy blue hilt, with diamond studs twirling around it. The hilt is also cold to the touch, but not freezing. The blade is a little bit longer, and the color of ice. It isn't cold though, like the hilt. It also has an unlinked diamond tail after it. ( diamond ~(little space) diamond ~ diamond ~ diamond etc) The tail is one foot long, and is icy cold to the touch. Those are freezing.
Shikai Abilities:
1st ability ~ Toushou (Frostbite) - Where the enemy gets hit with the sword, it freezes over, causing extreme pain, giving it frostbite and freezing the wound open. There aren't any icicles, but there is a thin layer of ice where the skin was cut. The ice obviously melts, but it stays there for a good ten minutes before leaving, even though it will probably leave the frostbite behind. If the sword doesn't cut the enemy, then the freezing ability doesn't work. This ability also doesn't work well if the cut is only a scratch. It will barely feel like anything to the enemy if you can do that only. You can, however, use your reiatsu to power this ability, causing the wound to freeze over tremendously. Having icicles haning off of their arm from a hit to their shoulder. There are endless possibilities to this attack, if you use it correctly. This will also work on inanimate objects, such as the ground. Just as long as something was cut.
2nd ability ~ Touketsu Maru (Frozen Circle) - You must create a cirle with Tsumetai Gyoushi in the air. It then it freezes over and creates a beam of ice that floats. That beam of ice is like a pole, and goes on for 30 yards. It can move in any direction the creater wants it to, however, the more it moves, the harder it is to control. You must have good control over it or else it will melt and you will be unable to use it for a short period of time. The beam is also pointed at the end, so the weilder must be cautious of things while controlling it. When the beam hits the target, it goes through it, and freezes a small area around the point where it peirced the targets skin. Also, once you have hit your target, the pole will break into tiny ice shards that will melt quickly. You can use more reiatsu to increase the freezing potential, but it already requires a large amount of it. It can't be used again for a short period of time after you use it.
3rd ability ~ Tsuin Ryuu Tanrei (Twin Dragon Grace) - This technique is a healing technique. Twin Dragon Grace is used for almost all wounds, and is easy to use. You just place both hands over the person you want to heal, and then concentrate on the spot that should be healed at the time. You can only heal one area at a time, and that can become troublesome if you don't have a lot of time. Once you are concentrating, you say Tsuin Ryuu Tanrei, and two dragons come out of the palms of your hands. They are white and crystal blue, and their names are Itonami (Life) and Chiyu (Healing). They form a circular pattern over the wound, and a crystal blue ray forms. You can then see the wound healing. The dragons are only so long, so every single wound wont be able to be healed, but most of them should be small enough. Once the dragons are done healing, you must say taisan (disperse) and they should shimmer into tiny sparkles and disappear.

Bankai Abilities:
1st ability~ "koori SUPAIKU Barrage"~ Ice spike barrage
This ability is used by slamming his mallet on any surface
which then sends off a wave of reiatsu which then feezes up
aiming at his target to stab or freeze.
2nd Ability~Tengoku Batsu~ Heavens Punishment
He point's his mallet at a target which then fire's a beam of frozen reistu
at his opponent to freeze them.
History/Background:
Kaimei was always the one to joke around. He always got in trouble with his parents and the other adults around him. They never got him, not at all. That was one of the things that annoyed him the most. He was always with his friends or alone with his family in the 32nd district of Rukongai. Usually his family just ignored him, but on the occasion they didn't, he was extremely happy. He would do practically anything to be with them, if only they would accept him.
He decided that enough was enough one day. He packed his things and left his family and friends behind him in a flurry of unwantedness. If he was going to make them happy, he had to do something important, and when he had the chance, of course he took it. He had taken all of his belongings that he needed. A clean shirt, some pants, and surprisingly, even his sandals. He usually didn't wear anything on his feet, but he figured that he might need them on this journey. He took the money that he had saved up, 7 Rai, and headed out to see what awaited him on his journey. He would become a shinigami and -force- his family to acknowledge him.
*Two days later* Why did he do this, it was stupid. He should have known that he wouldn't be able to do it, but he thought he would try. What was that he saw in the distance? Was that... no, it couldn't be. A flying cat? Who would believe him if he said anything like that! He had to tell his frien-- No, he couldn't, they were nowhere around here. But he could tell that stick. *you must remember that after two days without food, he was acting weird. He had forgotten to bring any with him, that's how much he was thinking* He heard a bird cry in the distance, and then he remembered nothing but black: deep, dark, and scary black.
*four days later* He woke up, staring at... a ceiling? Wasn't he outside, and if not, that must've been a dream. He should be at home, but this wasn't the ceiling of his house, nor did it smell anything like it. Or at least, from what he could remember. The bed felt weird too. Way too soft to be any bed that he or his family had ever slept in. Where was he, and how did he get here. He sat up, and immediately fell down again, having stomache cramps right away. Ohhh... he was so hungry. He heard something, something was coming. What was it! He had no idea, but whatever it was, he wanted to get away from it as soon as possible. It ended up being an old lady with some food for him to eat. Her name was Aigyou, Chiyo.
Apparently he had passed out on the street, and Chiyo and her husband Hiroshi had found him laying there. They couldn't just leave him, so they picked him up and brought him to their house. He slept for four days without waking up, and when he did, he had extreme stomache cramps for a few days. After he was done being sick like that, they introduced him to another woman they had found and picked up. Her name was Amaterasu, Akari. He never told anybody this, but when he saw her, he thought she was very pretty. Even though she seemed kinda shy. He later found out that she wasn't shy at all, but very outgoing in her personality.
Growing up with the elderly couple and Akari was the dream family he always wished he had. He was barely thinking of his family after two months, but he always remembered what he was going to do when he set out. He was going to be a shinigami. Akari seemed interested in everything he said, and when he talked about becoming a shinigami, she became very intrigued in that as well. Soon they decided they would work together to become the best shinigami ever. Of course it didn't turn out that way, but that's what they said then.
For years they practiced with each other, getting better and better then they even thought possible. He would attack, she'd parry and lunge. He'd then dodge out of the way and slice at her, only to be knocked away. That was how it was for a long time. Then, one day a shinigami noticed them practicing. Before they knew what had happened, they had left the company of Chiyo and Hiroshi, and were at the academy in the Seireitei.
Being at the academy was tough, but they could both keep up, if not succeed, with the other classmates. Each of them obtaining skills that had been unreachable while in Rukongai. They were friends throughout the entire experience, their relationship becomeing stronger. Of course they had other friends. They weren't always together. They didn't want people to think that they were together, so they couldn't always hang out. He was getting better at kidou and reiatsu control, and she was getting better at close combat and analytical skills. They had their own skills, and they were showing them to the world. They both graduated the same year. Her just a little above him, her being 3rd in class, and him in 5th. They did better than they had expected to, and by doing so made them even prouder. There was only one squad for Akari, and that was a different one from Kaimei. He was going to the 8th, she was not. He quickly grew to third seat.
Kaimei still hung out with all of his friends from the academy after graduation, and especially with Akari, but their paths were going in different directions, and they weren't as close as they used to be. Working at the academy was a blast for Kaimei. He didn't get to do everything that the the higher-ups did, but he was satisfied. Helping those under him become better at their skills was something he loved doing. He got a lot of practice in too, increasing his skills as well.
One day, his lieutenant was sent on a mission to defeat an annoying hollow, and was defeated doing his duty as a shinigami. There were 8 deaths total, and it required the help of a captain to defeat it. The hollow was a Gillian, one of the rarely seen hollows at that time. That is why they weren't prepared for the battle and had so many deaths. However, this effected Kaimei greatly. There was a lieutenant spot open, and he wanted it so badly. He knew he could do it, but there was another person requesting the open spot. He had to get that spot, no matter what. He did his best from then on untill they decided that he shouldnt become a lieutenant.
