Background and Personality
History Kayla is Jack Lockhart’s younger sister, she was born after Jack left and never got to meet him. Kayla’s childhood was also sort of bland, she never met her real parents because she was given away to protect her from the harm her parents had put them selves in.
Kayla was brought up by her new family to be a polite and to act like a girl should but this was not what Kayla wanted. As Kayla grew up she began to form a fascination for outlaws and the outlaw life style. Her father didn’t want Kayla to be involved in any danger so he kept a close eye on her, stepping in to stop her rebellious behavior when ever he noticed her acting out. Her father knew the story behind the Lockhart name and decided to keep her busy by teaching her a little bit of swordsmanship and telling her of her families heritage.

Eventually Kayla found out that she had a brother, and that brother was a famous outlaw how continued to evade the law. Kayla began to follow the stories of Jack by asking people from around town and even visitors from the towns that Jack had been to she was amazed at all that he had accomplished but was also ashamed that he gave up on their family heritage.

A few years later Kayla’s parents were killed she found this out from her very own brother who she met this one and only time, he told her that he was sad that he never got to meet her and that things might have turned out a little different if he had never left his home in the first place. When Jack left soon after, Kayla followed him without anyone knowing. When Jack finally confronted the man who killed their family she confronted Jack and told him not to kill the man, Jack refused and was later killed because the man was a sheriff. Kayla was so stricken with grief that she simply grabbed Jacks horse and left the town and never went home. Kayla went on to live a normal life and became the sheriff of a new town where she was known as the most feared as well as the best sheriff the town had ever seen.

Kayla was later killed in an attack staged by a local group of bandits, she died protecting her town. Kayla was then sent to soul society where she learned that her brother was once there but disappeared, she went on to train and aimed to be the next captain of squad six. Just before Aizen left soul society he implanted the lie in Kayla’s head saying the reason her brother went missing was because the soul society turned on him and killed him. Kayla decided to join Aizen, with the intent of getting revenge for her brother.

Personality Kayla is a very polite and caring person which is hard to believe why she joined Aizen in the first place except for the fact that she is under the impression that Jack was turned one by soul society and executed. she is head strong just like her brother and often loves to joke around often not taking fights seriously.
