Saikuro's figure is hardly an
imposing one. Standing roughly around 5'6 and weighting a dollar and
fifty cents, he appears to be a rebel without a cause. His luminescent
cyan hair which used to be cut short now grows slightly past his neck.
His azure blue eyes are extremely gorgeous and seductive, yet they are
more than capable to embody the emotions of darkness and rage.
Saikuro's clothing is the standard Shinigami attire along with his captain haori with the 8th division insignia sewed onto it.

Background and Personality
History
Saikuro's life began on a winter day many years ago. He was born poor within the Rukon District 45, a rough, but still habitable neighborhood. his father was a salesworker while his mother was a maid for one of the wealthier people in Seiretei. Since Saikuro was an only child, much burden was placed on him. He had to get a job as a sword cleaner within the Shinigami Academy. He got paid very little, and sometimes the academy kids picked on him and beat him up since he was so poor and weak. One of the kids sabotaged him by giving him by switching out his cleaning materials with that of plain water. Once the inspector came to see that the blades were dirty and dull, he fired Saikuro.

Life only got harder as his parents were dependent on the money their son brought home. His father started beating him for this, much to his mother's chagrin. This provided a ripple in the couple's relationship, and they soon split apart. Feeling guilty, Saikuro went into a deep depression, he never left his room, and he hardly ate, dropping his weight drastically. His mother sent him to a hospital in Seiretei, giving all of her money to make sure that her son would get the treatment he needed. Once he was released, he found out that his parents were murdered for owing a local crime lord money. Seeking vengeance, he snuck into the Shinigami Academy late at night, since he worked there he knew all the back door and secret tunnels and locks to confuse security. He stole a blade and he infiltrated the crime lord's house, killing him while he slept. The authorities soon traced him and apprehend Saikuro, who was locked up and setenced to death. However, a Shinigami captain paid for Saikuro to get out on bail, and the man soon adopted Saikuro and enlisted him wtihin the Academy.

At first, Saikuro didn't to well. His swordsmanship was sloppy , his kidou spells were destructive to him and those around him, and he couldn't perform a shunpo to save his life. This all changed however, as a girl who was top of her class opted to help Saikuro out. Why would she waste her time with him? It was because she liked him, and needed an excuse to get close to him.
As time went by, Saikuro's abilities started to improve, as well as his feeling for his mentor, Kiara. They only grew closer as time passed by, and Saikuro soon worked up the nerve to ask her out. She agreed of course, and they both hit it off nicely. However, it would soon all come to a crashing end.

Upon graduation,both Saikuro and Kiara were set in the 8th division. They both proved themselves worthy in the eyes of their captain, who promoted Saikuro to Liuteneant, as he became better than Kiara, who was promoted to 3rd seat. They soon embarked on a mission to Earth to destroy the threat of a hollow there. It was on this mission that an Arrancar appeared seemingly out of nowhere. The Arrancar struck, knocking out Saikuro and killing Kiara. The Captain sacrificed his life to send Saikuro back to Soul Society alive while the Arrancar killed the Captain where he stood.

Upon arrival, Saikuro told everyone the bad news, and under heavy debate, they decided to give the vacant captain spot to Saikuro as he was the only one eligable and had the skill and will to perform his duties.
Personality:

Saikuro is a very tragic
figure. His personality has a striking resemblence to those such as
Anakin Skywalker and Romeo. He is a kind person at heart, who doesn't
genuinely wish pain or torment on others, yet, he is extremely loyal
and honest. These traits is why he can be so dangerous, for if he is
swayed on the path to darkness, he will act accordingly and won't look
back. Even if he's required to kill innocents or children, he wouldn't
hesitate for his moral consciousness won't allow him to perfrom the
henious act of betrayal, even if it is for the betterment of mankind.
This, of course, does not mean that he is easily swayed to any
position, if he has already dug his feet within the ground and takes an
adamant stand on a position, it would be virtually impossible to sway
him, yet still doable.


Despite
such negative aspects of his persona, there is, infact, a bright side.
Though his heart maybe full of hate and grief, due to living in world
who only presents him with such, there is a silver lining. Deep down,
he cares for people, animals, and even strangers. Though it is this
caring that can be self-destructive, as he will do anything to defend
them. If one who embodies the persona of evil was to be-friend him, and
told him to massacre those who have never even met Saikuro, he would do
it, gladly. But on the other hand, if one who emobdies the persona of
justice and peace would befriend Saikuro, and told him to defend a city
with his life, he would do it gladly.


While
some are in battle, their personalities take a drastic change. The
quiet ones become rabid wolverines, while the headstrong ones become
cold, calculating warriors. Saikuro however, is a mixture of the two.
When his emotions run high and take over, he becomes a vicious opponent
who releases onslaught after onslaught of attacks in order to defeat
his foe. However, when he has a cool head on his shoulders, he analyzes
his opponent and attacks with keen precision and accurarcy. He always
takes the path that will lead to an easy victory without much
bloodshed, unless of course he's ordered to do the former.

Zanpaktou Information
Zanpaktou Name:
Kuro Haji(

暗いグリップ, literally dark grip)

Zanpakutou Appearence
The sealed zanpaktou takes the form of a
standard katana that is slightly longer than the average however,
stretching a maximum of 35inches. The hilt is slightly curved to make
it easier for the wielder to parry attacks, however it makes it
slightly harder to attack with it, which makes it unique to Saikuro
since it matches his fighting style. The tassel that is sewed onto the
hilt is unique as well, as instead of being your standard black, it's
an emerald green.
Shikai Appearence:
Upon release, the blade becomes dark as the hilt takes the form of slightly more of that of a handle. The blade becomes slightly shorter while it becomes extremely dark and sharp. The design embodies that of a bat's wing.

Shikai Ability:
Saikuro's zanpaktou has the unique ability to manipulate dark energy, which is exceedingly rare. It has the ability to shoot concentrated blasts of dark energy, ranging from small bolts to beams. It also holds the ability to manifest dark energy and turn it into a tendril like shape to grab or damage foes considerably. It also carries the ability to transport Saikuro and those standing within a 5 foot radius to a location within thirty miles.
Bankai Appearence:
Saikuro's anpaktou disappears as a large amount of dark energy engulfs his being. His very appearance starts to change as his hair starts to grow extremely long, stretching past his spine. His skins turns into that of a dark chocolate while his eyes become golden, filled with hate and malice intent. A tatoo of a heart forms on his chest while he grows in height and his clothing changes. His zanpaktou now takes the form of a dark creature that follows his back like a shadow. It is extremely buff, and more than capable of protecting it's master. However, it cannot leave his master's side, or, back.

Bankai Ability:
Saikuro's bankai possess the same ability as his shikai with some added bonuses. Saikuro's zanpaktou can summons minions that are manifested by dark power to attack his opponent. However, only a dozen can be summoned at one time, and the minions are all the same strength as gillian level hollows. Also, Saikuro gains the ability to levitate, and send shockwaves of dark energy to either push back or damage his foe. Finally, Saikuro's zanpaktou may disperse into a shield of darkness in order protect against shikai-leveled blasts.

The yellow haired Quincy was tossing and turning within his bed, a
dribble of saliva was pouring from the side of his mouth and running
across his cheek, making it's way to his pillow, in which he held
firmly within his grasp. A smile crept across his face as his seemingly
simple dream of hanging out with one of his female friends turned into
a very exotic one indeed.

"Whoa baby, let's take it slow OK?"
Saikuro said aloud as his body shifted over to his left side. His grin
started to stretch even more as he was almost literally smiling ear to
ear, the grin was almost one that a perv would have, giving more
details of the type of dream he was having.

"You like it when I speak Spanish to ya huh? Mi gusta Marie."
Saikuro said aloud again. He had said "I like Marie" in Spanish,
meaning that he apparently liked the girl that was currently occupying
his thoughts.

Saikuro's lips were fixed into a kiss, as he was
apparently about to kiss the girl that was occupied within his dream.
Just as their lips were about to touch, the girl stopped and took a
moment to say something.

"All Elites located within the Hospital, make your way to the meeting as soon as possible. Thank You."

Saikuro's
emerald eyes opened as he took a moment to absorb what the girl had
said to him. He soon realized that his leader was gathering the Quincy
together in the meeting room that the golden haired Quincy has never
seen or been to, but there were clues throughout the hospital that
would aid him in finding the mysterious meeting room.

Jumping
from his bed, Saikuro wiped the slobber from the corner of his mouth
and took a gander at himself in the mirror. The golden spiky haired
Quincy frowned at his appearance, he knew that he wasn't dressed
appropriately to attend a meeting. He grabbed his green vest from his
closet and threw on his albino white cape. He grabbed his brown leather
chaps and slid them on his legs and zipped them up tight.

He
quickly rummaged through his closet looking for his sandals that he
slipped onto his feet and grabbed his senrei glove and his belt that
held his Sele Schneider. With a quick glance back to make sure that he
didn't leave anything, he closed the door to his room and started to
make his way toward the elevator.

"Where is this damn meeting room?" Saikuro asked himself. He soon saw a flier that was laying on the ground. It read:

The meeting will take place in the appropriate room on the 40th floor, failure to attend will result in dire consequences!

Saikuro
signed with relief as he placed the flier back on the ground and
entered the elevator. While the elevator was ascending through the
floors Saikuro noticed that his pants were apparently bulging. It
seemed that the effects the dream had on him hadn't worn off. He
panicked at the sight of it and he used his hands to physically keep it
down so nobody would notice. By the time the elevator opened up with a
chime, the bulge was no longer there.

The Quincy's eyes scanned
the area as he soon saw the most extravagant set of double doors he had
ever seen in his life. He flung them open as he witnessed several
Quincy had made it before him. He made a cheap smile and placed his
hand on the back of his head, thinking of a good excuse.

"Sorry for being late. I was just...uh...I was 'busy' with an important matter." Saikuro lied as he took a seat, leaning back in his chair and stretching his legs on the table.
Saikuro had a wide grin etched onto his face, his eyes were closed as
he started to daydream about the previous dream he was having. He used
his legs to lightly push the front legs of the chair off the ground,
making himself a lot more comfortable.

He started to wonder if
the dream was a sign of something to come, it did seem to be somewhat
clairvoyant, but as of now he didn't really seem to care about the
significance of the dream, all he cared about was what was happening in the dream.

right Saikuro?

That
was all the golden haired Quincy heard as his concentration was broken.
His playful grin turned into that of grimace as the front legs of his
chair overextended and he fell backwards, landing on his head. Trying
not to look foolish in front of his fellow Quincy elites he immediately
bounced himself back up, trying to project a manly aura.

"Haha, that didn't hurt," Saikuro said. He soon felt the sharp gazes of his fellow Quincy, as well as his leader.

"I mean uh...yea right. 'We' gave it to that Bount!
Saikuro said, putting the emphasis on we so that his other elites
wouldn't know that it was actually him who killed the Bount, a pitiful
attempt as one wouldn't have to think hard in order to put the two
together.

He didn't realize that his master was most likely
asking a rhetorical question, but he felt the need to answer anyway so
that his leader would know that he had his undivided attention. He sat
back within his chair, immediately erasing the thought of leaning back
in it again. His emerald eyes were glued onto his master, and his eyes
were ready to decipher everything he had to say.
