Ishi Ito, an Amazon among Japanese students had retreated to the bathroom. She splashed water on her face and stared at herself in the mirror. Water tricked down her face and tiny droplets of water fell off her chin splashin in the sink. So this was her new school, the little house her parents had bought her, the allowance she receieved from them, this was her new life. She couldn't complain she had choosen to do this, after all how long could she have let that nagging feeling in her stomach letting her know that up north wasn't where she belonged? If she hadn't been watching the news so carefully, she would have never have seen that monster. The locals had blamed it on a mini earthquake, but what Ishi saw made it a completely different manner. After discussing with her parents, they had agreed to allow her to move to Karakura Town to fight against the monsters. At least they had seemed to understand what she seemed to be destined to do. It didn't made starting over any easier.
Ishi patted her face dry with her handkerchief, this could be a good thing. No one knew what she had looked like before she had died. No one knew about that petite dancer who had schools lined up for her to attented. The preppy girl who had her choice of guys. No they would know tall, quiet, Ishi who disappeared at odd times of the day. If she made friends at all. Ishi let out a sigh, even if she didn't she had survived without them. But even then she had her family to lean back on, now she had...no one. Maybe she should get a cat, she was rather fond of them.
Stepping out of the bathroom, Ishi watched a rather disheveled guy sprint past her. 'please don't go into my class, please don't..." Ishi thought to herself, not wanting to imagine what type of education she would receive with someone like that in the class. She frowned deeply as the guy ran into the classroom she was heading to. She stood in front of the door, staring at the wood, letting the class calm down before knocking on the door and opening it.
"Ah, you must be the new student," the teacher spoke standing up and barely coming to Ishi's chest, "Er, why don't you introduce yourself," the teacher said quickly taking a seat again.
"Um," Ishi said quietly, glancing at the guy who had run past her, her looked unkempt but Ishi's face remained emotionless, "Ito Ishi, I transferred here from Hokkaido, I lived in Sapporo," she said simply before she looked out the window, it was a nice day out.
"Alright, well, you can sit in the desk next to the window and Asano," the teacher said and Ishi nodded, keeping her feelings of horror to herself as she sat down in her desk.
