Paper Wings

For once, Urufu wasn't in his forest. He had taken the day to go explore the city. Bear blood was getting a little boring, and he craved the taste of warm people blood running down his throat, like a spicy energy drink. He got strange looks as his bare feet padded down the concrete sidewalk, the sun bright in the sky showing his pale skin. The truth was, Urufu hated the sun, and was the main reason he wore his cloak. Those that knew him likened him to a Vampire almost right away, which usually angered him. He hated vampires.

Spiritually aware people gave him the worst looks of all. They could sense his dangerous Reiatsu, even if they didn't know what it was, and usually were frightened. Sighing, he continued on his trek for a good meal, almost sad he couldn't drink or eat human food anymore. His diet was wrecked.

A garganta open in the middle of a group of people walking around the city.Through the garganta came a man with yellow hair.The man wore all white.The man also had a mask.The mask looked like it was part of a foxes skull.The thing that drew the most attention to him was a nine tattoo.This meant that the man was an espada.The ninth espada to be infact.The garganta closed slowly as the man had completely stepped out of it.He looked around staring at all the people in this big city.He thought of devouring their souls,but he didnt as tempted as he was.The man just wanna to spar with someone.He walked around peacefully wondering if anyone noticed him as he walked around.Thats when lance got the idea to fire a cero at tree.Suddenly lance point his right hand towards a tree.A small red ball formed in lances hand he was using a small amount of reitsu so he wouldnt hurt anyone.He fired a small cero made of his own reitsu at a tree where no one would be harmed.The blast hit the tree blasting it to small peices.When the tree was destroyed smoke covered the area.Lance smirked proud of his power.

"And what exactly was the point of that?" Urufu asked the espada, not bothering to care that a member of an evil organization had come to his city and was blasting tree's. "Because honestly, that was kind of a stupid thing to do.. You drew attention to yourself.." He mentioned, as people stared at the boy talking to himself, or looking at the smoldering remains of the tree.

"We should go somewhere where there are less people,"said lance.

Lance smirked as he made one step and suddenly he used sonido.He was now by the tree he had easily destroyed with a weak cero.He then motioned at the boy signaling the boy to follow him.He laughed like a maniac as he used sonido to appear by a hot dog stand near the demolished tree.Thats when lance took his zanpakuto (a large shuriken) off of his back.He threw the shuriken at the boy now he was aiming the boys shoulder so if the shuriken did hit lance wouldnt kill this boy who looked quite fragile.

Urufu grinned as the Shuriken headed for him. "You have no idea who I am..." He muttered, before he and the shuriken disappearing using raw speed. He reappeared beside the Espada and jammed his own zanpakuto, which he had grabbed while running, into his stomach. "Seriously... I just met you and you try to kill me?! What the hell's your deal?" he asked, slightly bemused.

Sighing, he noticed how people stared at him. "Let's go for real this time." He muttered, before disappearing and reappearing on top of a large building, waiting impatiently for Lance.

Your fast to huh,said lance as the boy suddenly appeared by him.

Thats when the boy tried to slam lance's zan into his stomache,but lance side stepped the attack getting cut by his ribs instead.Then lance grabbed his zan yanking it out of the boys hands.Lance then raised his free hand and a small red ball formed in it.Lance then fired a small cero at the boy right after he used sonido to get about a mile away from the boy.Lance smirked the boy was a strong opponent.Lance hoped this fight never ended,but he had to maintain himself so he wouldnt go berserk

Urufu just turned, he didn't bother going after the arrancar. Walking away, he took one step to the left to avoid the Cero. It whizzed by him in a dazzling flash of red. Continuing on his journey, he began to look for homeless Humans. They were easiest to drink from, because he could drain them dry and do the city a favor.

Spotting one, he descended on the man like an angel from hell, his cloak billowing out below him. Crashing into him, he knocked him out cold with a kick to the head. Luckily, they were in an abandoned alleyway, so no one could see. Draining the poor man dry of his blood, he tossed the shriveled body into a dumpster and jumped right back up to the roof.

Thanks to the blood, he had a speed, strength, and focus boost. He smiled. This was going to be fun.

The boy thought no one had noticed what he did,but lance did.He was now enraged not because the boy had killed someone,but because the boy had turned away from him as if he was dirt on the boys shoulder.Then lance put his zanpakuto back on his back and began charging up a cero.This cero was much larger than the othe.This one was the size of a ballon thats lost half of its air.This cero was a weak cero that lance used only a small portion of his reitsu to make.It had gotten so large from the reitsu in the atmosphere and it continued to get bigger.Lance chuckled he could hold it in no longer he was now going berserk the one thing he hoped not to do.He knew this would do a great deal of damage to the boy,but it wouldnt kill him.Suddenly lance released all the reitsu he had gathered in the form of a cero.This cero didnt harm anyone because they had cleared out when he destroyed the tree.This much more powerful cero he fired had even desinegrated the walls of brick by the alley.

Urufu was now much more powerful. Creating a puppet, the puppet stood calmly in front of Urufu and took the blast. It disintegrated, but Urufu was unharmed. "Really? That's it? Very well." He muttered, before disappearing. If he could get close to him before, he was sure to strike him now, with his enhanced speed. Slashing and clawing rapidly, Urufu's claws were thirsty once more for the blood of an enemy.

Just because he drained a man dry didn't mean he couldn't get more blood. Creating a second puppet, this one appeared behind the man and began clawing and punching as well.

Lance took his zan off of his back kicking urufu away,but spinning around and slashing the puppet as he destroyed it.Lance smirked the kid obviously wasnt fighting at full power,but neither was he.He then slashed his opponents chest with amazing grace and speed.Lance smirked as him and this man did battle.Lance then raised his spiritual pressure ita little b.Now more people would probably sense the twos prescence.

Using the Kick's momentum, Urufu rushed backwards, his puppet gone. As the slash to his chest connected, he delivered his own slash to the espada's arm, but couldn't tell if it connected or not. Suddenly, his momentum carried him all the way through a dumpster. Struggling to get out, he quickly shook it off, and looked around. Where the hell did the espada go?

Lance the slash connected just as lance used shonido.The attack made a small cut.Lance sighed in relief.He knew that if hadnt used the sonido he would lost his arm and he didnt want that to happen.Suddenly lance used sonido again to go to the boy.He put his zan back on his back as he helped the boy up.Lance looked at the boy wondering if he would attack him.Lance had put his gaurd down to help the young man.

Urufu didn't attack. Yet. Bringing the blood stained claws to his lips, he licked off the plasma. Instantly, he felt a burst of power. Shrugging off the excess Reiatsu, he took a moment to get used to it. His eyes flashed crimson for a moment, before receding back to their regular purple.

"Shall we finish this?" he asked, as a Shuriken formed in his hands. "Cool.." He muttered, before using Sonido and disappearing to the top of the building. This fight just got a little crazier.

"I get your power,but you arent better than the original,"said lance.

Lance threw his zan at the man.Lance then began charging another cero the same size as the last one,but this time it was only lances reitsu.He waited for his opponent to counter.He then raised his spiritual pressure a bit more.He didnt want to reveal his released state espescially to someone who can copy anothers powers.

"The most common misconception..." Urufu muttered, before disappearing away from the shuriken. Charging his own Cero, He placed it inside the middle of the shuriken and tossed it into the air. Kicking it, the large star went whizzing towards Lance, the red ball of doom spinning inside it, charging as it went.

"They may not be my powers, but that doesn't mean I'm an idiot with them!" He called, creating a puppet that looked just like Lance. The puppet too began charging his Cero, ready to fire it on Urufu's command.

Kensei was in a particularly good mood. He had sensed Urufu from their first meeting and was amused to see him get angry as he was stared at strangely. He also noted an espada or high level espada coming through a garganta, he decided against killing it, as that would likely attract unwanted attention.

He was merely sitting off the edge of a building watching the fight when someone with reiatsu similar to a vizard, but closer to his own, showed up and attacked the espada. He was surprised to see someone like this anywhere, but just randomly attacking was a big surprise. He knew most vizards let shinigami and arrancar deal with each other.

He watched as she seemed to have a conversation with herself, which made him smirk, she had a strong connection to her hollow, whether she knew it or not was not known, but he knew it. He watched her attack closely and noted her zanpokuto was obviously a water type. He also noticed the espada's zanpokuto was a giant shuriken, which made him chuckle. He had seen them in his life when he was in japan. He recorded their fighting style in his mind and smirked, observation was easy, acting on it was not always as easy though.

He jumped down from the building and landed beside the girl. He smirked knowing he'd probably scare her, with the big 0 on his chest. He decided against removing the 0 as it brought fear and respect from enemies and even allies. His red hair and eyes scared most humans but not shinigami or hollows. His outfit, however was oposite as an espada was suposed to dress, a red shirt with a black jacket and black pants. He also had a black robe on but it went more on his shoulders, so it did not cover his front, however he had the hood up which made it impossible to see any of his face aside from his eyes and the smirk, making him look like death itself.

Suddenly, the espadas zanpakuto came spinning back to him at high speeds.The large weopon not only knocked away the sword,but destroyed the weopon also.Lance then caught the weopon just before using sonido to get a few feet away from the glass shards.He now looked at all the other people here.He was sure one of the men were human,but the other two men he was unsure of.One thing he did know was they were all quite strong,but it seemed as though he was out numbered now since the woman had just attacked him.He wondered if the other person would help him or attack.

"Kensei!" Urufu cried, forgetting his battle/spar for the moment. "Great to see you again." He called, shunpo-ing towards his friend. "What brings you to my part of the neighborhood?" He joked, almost ignoring the other being.

Looking towards the female that had appeared, he waved slightly before introducing himself. "Hello, My name is Urufu." He said, his voice resounding over the area which now lay in dead silence and sifting smoke.

"Hey, Lance. I think our little spar has come to an end. Obviously we have company to entertain." He called to the espada, pulling everyone together into the conversation.

"do what you want just let him live... I have uses for him" He smirked "ah hey Urufu whats up? any reason your fighting this kid?" He asked raising his eyebrow. He turned to the female and raised both eyebrows before narrowing them. "and who are you anyway.... you seem farmiliar.... do I know you from soul society or perhaps the vizards?" He asked Ezekeil casually.

He noticed her attack and exactly what and how powerful it was. He also noted she had the ability to absorb a cero into her sword, likely a vizard, but you can never be sure with these new shinigami powers, like his. Then theres the human powers, such as absorbing other powers, mind powers, time destruction powers and many more.

"Hey Kensei... What should we do with the Butchered?" He asked, laughing maniacally. Occasionally, his crazy side got loose. It wasn't often, but sometimes it happened. When it did, he became completely bi-polar, ready to snap at any moment. He could still register friends from foes, however.

"Ah fuck it, let's just eat him!" He cried, snapping his teeth in Lance's direction, and cackling once more. "Hey, Shinigami/Vizard/Arrancar/Whatever you are!" He called, pointing to the woman that had joined them. "What's up?" He called, his voice rebounding across the area, pure Reiatsu flowing through it to increase it's volume.

Lance looked in disbelief.He then looked at his opponent and snarled.His teeth grew longer now they looked more like fangs.His mask which looked like part of a fox skull formed into a full fox skull.His whole body then became much skinnier.His arms now looked like stick made of bone.His legs also became like this.His feet formed into paw like things.His finger nails became long even razor sharp now.His zanpakuto was gone now.This obviously meant that his main weopon was his hands now.He continued to stare at his opponent.The inside of his mouth now flared with fire.He was about to release it but he was waiting for his opponent to attack him.

Lance screamed in pain from the attack.He fell to his knee.The fire had extinguished that was in his mouth.He then spun on his knee.He then fell he was even more angry then before now.The only difference was now he couldnt do anything.Since he knew he was defeated he deciced to return to his normal form.Suddenly, lance full skull like mask returned to its normal partial skull like state.His arms legs and fingernails suddenly went to their normal state also.He then looked at the woman and snarled.He knew if she did let him live he'd come back and fight her again,but the next time he would win.
