A pretty boy by appearance, it is hard to picture Nezai harming anyone. He constantly wears a warm smile that is a tactic to catch his adversaries off guard, for they would never suspect(unless they are actively searching for him or are extremely suspicious) a killer, or muderer, to be a law-abiding citizen who has a humble demeanor and is very respectful to his superiors and inferiors alike.

When Nezai is out and about, he dons a fresh all white button-up shirt with a pair of clean, crisp all black khakis. Nezai is not limited to this basic set-up however, but his choice of clothes would rarely step outside the boundaries of "business-like."

Zanpakutou Appearence+Shikai Appearance:
The sealed form is a sword that has a slightly greater length than that of a standard katana.(approximately 1.5 inches longer). It is strapped along his hip within an all black sheath. Even the hilt of the blade is pitch black, which gives it a sort of eerie appearance.

Shikai Ability:
Similar to that of Gin's and Tousen's, Nezai's shikai is more of a command than an allout release. As soon as he utters the words "Reduce," the space between him and the target is decreased to a point of Nezai's choosing. However, this technique does have its limits, as it can only reduce the space in front or behind him. It cannot reduce the space beside him.

Background and Personality
History:
ORIGINS
Nezai was born in the upper class of Rukongai. His parents were fairly wealthy, as his father was a retired member of the Central 46 Chambers. His mother was an aristocrat for the Royal Realm who happened to settle down in Rukongai. Due to the shear amount of wealth his parents had, they feared that their only son would grow up spoiled. So they had him tutored 24/7 by a mathmatics teacher, philosophy teacher, science teacher, and music teacher. Soon Nezai was able to exceed all forms of study and was sent to the Shinigami Academy, something his parents dubbed "military school."

ACADEMY DAYS
The first day in the Academy was quite frustrating for Nezai. He didn't fair very well in swordsmanship, and he was all but average in the art of kidou. However, he exceeded in all other forms of study such as science and algebra. In an attempt to get ahead, Nezai requested one on one time with his zenjutsu teacher and kidou teacher. No one else knew how, but within a month's time Nezai became the top of his class in both aspects of battle, and was reffered to the 12th Division due to his well-roundedness.

DEFCTION
Many years passed as Nezai spent most of them buried in books paperwork. He enjoyed such duties however, and wanted to learn all he could of Soul Society and their customs. As he dug deeper and deeper into the Shinigami archives, he noticed that there was a missing file under the 5th Division Captains. As he attempted to plow further, nothing came up of the former captain. Neai soon became obsessed with finding the missing link, and fled Soul Society into the human world in hopes of finding any clues. He found very little, and soon Soul Society sent many lesser shinigami after him. Nezai was easily capable of subdueing the weak Shinigami, which only solidified his status as a rogue shinigami.

Personality:
Despite having murdered several forms of life, Nezai is a philosophical, soft-spoken intellectual. When he addresses others, it is always with the upmost respect he is never rude to strangers. He never forgets his honorifics, and is capable of speaking several languages(Japanese, French, English, Spanish). He is rarely surprised, especially in battle, as he tries to plan several steps ahead of his opponent. In the midst of battle he may try to converse with his opponent in order to figure out their mindset and perhaps clues to their past so he could burrow in their head with his words. If he could urke his opponents to perfrom recklessly then he would be that much closer in defeating them.
