Azako has shoulder-length blonde hair, which she usually wears down. She has a heart-shaped face with azure eyes. She has a slim figure with curves, and is quite busty. She wears her shinigami's uniform with an azure obi tied like a corset, and her top is altered to bare her shoulders; and instead of having pants, she wears a short skirt like Nemu does. The rest of her outfit is the same as the standard captain's outfit; except her shoes are altered to look slightly more feminine. She often also wears all sorts of accesories that she bought from trips to the human world. She also has a fondness for manicures, and always has some sort of design on her nails.

Zanpaktou Information
Zanpaktou Name: Kiri Ouji
Zanpakutou Appearence In sealed form, it is a regular katana with an azure hilt and handle with an azure stripe going down the middle of the blade.
Shikai Appearence: The sword extend to her height, and the blade broadens to her shoulder-length. In this state, it represents a broadsword more than a katana; Other than that, it remains the same.
Shikai Ability: In Shikai, Kiri Ouji moves faster and creates more damage than before. It can also emitt mist from nowhere, which she can shape and move to her wish. Kiri Ouji gains the ability to 'choose' what others see. No, it cannot create illusions, but it can 'hide' things from view (I.E. make things and parts of things invisible). It only hides an object from view though; when invisible one can still be heard and felt.
Bankai Appearence: The sword blade becomes thinner, and shrinks a bit so it isn't as long as before. It still represents more of a sword than a katana though.
Bankai Ability: In Bankai, Kiri Ouji gains more power in the ability to 'choose'. Other than choosing what others see, it gives Azako the power of what to 'touch'. It allows Azako the power of making her and her zanpaktou intangible to any solid objects, liquids, and air; The only thing that they cannot pass through are other zanpaktous. In this state, Kiri Ouji can also create mist like it does in Shikai.

Name: White Sphere
Description: By creating a ball of thick mist, Azako 'traps' her enemies in it to temporarily confuse and blind them. It can be easily destroyed by a simple wave of a sword or a small kido blast, thus it is only used to delay time. [in Shikai and Bankai only]

Name: Mist Sphere
Description: A stronger version of White Sphere; this time the enemy is confined within multiple layers of mist instead of just one. It is harder to destroy, for the layers will automatically keep duplicating themselves; the only way to get out of the sphere is a strong cut or a large kido blast. She can still attack enemies when they're in the spear, by running her sword through the sphere. She cannot see what is going on inside the spear though, for it is as opaque on the outside as it is in the inside. If not careful, she can also accidentally destroy the sphere by cutting it too hard. [Shikai and Bankai only]

Name: Riatsu Mist Shield
Description: By combining her riatsu with layers and layers of mist, she can create a temporary shield that will protect her for one attack before dissolving. The shield forms a sphere around her, protecting her from all directions. [Shikai and Bankai only]

Name: Mist Rebirth
Description: By stabbing herself with the sword, Azako is able to turn into mist. No one will be able to harm her when she's in this form; but she won't be able to attack or do much other than drift around until she gains enough energy to reform into solid again. She is able to 'shape' herself into the shape she wants and communicate with others, but that's about it. It takes her a pretty long time to go back to solid form, a minimum of a week,. The more wounds she has, the longer it takes. [Bankai only]

Background and Personality
History

Azako was from an ordinary family of four. At an early age, her intelligence clearly exceeded her other classmates'. By middle school, she was claimed as one of the top students in entire Asia. However, after arriving in high school, she started slacking. Her grades dropped, she skipped school, and became a regular customer at all sorts of clubs and pubs. No one thought of her as intelligent anymore. It wasn't that she turned dumb or anything, though. She just didn't feel like there was anythin worth her using her mind for. And so, she never went to college, but stayed home and blew all her money in gambling and going to dance halls. Her death occured when she was 21; she was driving back after a long night of drinking, and crashed into another car. The next morning, the cops found her car in ruins, lying on its back. Apparently, after skidding into the passing car she had driven over the safety railing, and proceeded to crash into a lamppost.

Azako was bought to Soul Society by a shinigami. There, she was still a slacker. She'd drink and have fun with the other souls, until a couple of years later. She realized that her money would not last forever, and that she'd run out eventually. Thus, she decided to try out for the SHinigami Academy -just for the free food. She got in on the first try, but after being accepted in she started slacking again -to the point that the teachers told her she better start working hard or they'd kick her back onto the streets again. SUrprisingly, that was enough to boost her determination just a tiny bit. WIth that, she aced through the exams, and graduated as a fully qualified shinigami.

She wasn't happy as a shinigami, though. The life of a shinigami, if possible, was even more boring than being in the academy. So, she aimed to become a captain. But for once, her intelligence failed her. She had underestimated the others, thinking that getting into Captain rank woudl be as easy as the entrance test, and the result was getting her butt badly kicked. She wasn't depressed, though. For once, she was actually determined to do something. Spending 300 years in isolation, she finally mastered her bankai, and got the position as 8th Division Captain. ...Although, after getting the position, she resumed back to her slacking ways.

Personality

Azako is a laidback and fancy woman, who promotes 'fun' above 'work'. She's the type of person to skip work just so she could go hang out with friends or view flowers. She enjoys gorment food, expensive things, and relaxing at the beach. Azako hates all type of work, but especially paperwork. She likes a mixture of oriental and western, just as long as things look elegant and pretty. Most of the time she can be found slacking off and partying with others, or shopping for new clothes. WHen talking, she can be really straight forward; one of the things she love doing most is gossip, or judge other people's clothes. She is also quite flirtacious, always trying to hook-up with someone. She is also a player, and although she claims to be straight, she'd sleep with both guys and girls just as long as they're good looking. But even though she seems pretty much useless most of the time, she used to be one of the smartest children in Asia, and that is not without a reason. It's just that most of the time she isn't facing crisis and there is nothing she is determined about, so she just doesn't feel the need to live up to her old status of smartness. Because of her slacking nature, she also enjoys giving people nicknames, and tends to call people by their names with a honorific; vice versa, she likes other people to call her by firstname, although she requests all members of the 8th Division to call her 'my lady'.

Role-play Sample: (Only if you want to play a captain, and it needs to be long)

"Ooh, the blossoms this year certainly are pretty, aren't they?" Azako cooed happily, fingering the bright azure blossoms in her yard. Leaning back, she took a sip of plum vinegar, before strumming a few notes on the golden lyre that lay across her lap. Spring, is the best season. The two men who were busily fanning her with large palm fans could only nod, constantly sneaking glances towards the building. They knew that something bad always happens when they stray too close with the Taichou...but they can't exactly deny her orders, can they? So reluctantly, they just sat back and did their job. Not that Azako would ever notice about their worried looks; she was too busy admiring the blue flowers.

"Hatori Taichou." A black figure, a messenger, dropped from the sky and landed in front of Azako. "A message for you, from Yamamoto-Sama."

"A message, for me, from Genryuu-San?" She mused, playing with a fallen petal. She didn't say anything more, and the messenger, not knowing what to do, remained silent as well. After a while, she said, "Well, aren't you going to tell me what he said, messenger-chan?"

"Sorry for the delay," The messenger apologized, although he didn't sound sorry at all. Coughing, he recited, "Yamamoto-Sama wants to remind you that you still have a whole stack of reports to be finishe, and that they are to be turned in to him no later than midnight today. You should also turn in the overdued ones that you owe him, he adds, as well as the paperworks for this month's financial uses. Oh, and also, he wants to tell..um...order you not to pick any more of Byakuya Kuchiki's sakura blossoms, nor should you host any more strip poker parties where passbyers can see you."

"Yare yare," Azako complained, "He is no fun!" She pouted a bit, flopping back on to her seat, lying with her sleeves covering her face. After a while, she sat back up, and said, "Ok ok, tell him I'll turn all of it in by midnight and all that." With a nod, the messenger flash-stepped away, glad to get a bit of distance between him and her. As soon as he is gone, one of the 8th Division officers rushed out, carrying a stack of papers.

"Taichou, taichou! These papers-"

"-Are due today. Yes, I know that, darling," Azako said, taking the pile of papers from him. Reaching out, she curled one strand of his hair, oblivious to the fact that the boy had tried to leave as soon as possible. "Thank you for telling me about it,"

"N-no problem, m'lady," He said, trying hard not to shiver, before hurrying off as fast as he can.

"Oya," Azako sighed, after he left. Snapping her fingers, she sent the other two men away. A whole lot of other paperwork to be done...how bo-oring. But there are nothing else to be done. After all, she does nto have a Fu-Taichou to finish all her work...and the last time she forgot to turn things in, Yamamoto-San deleted all of her sake and hanami decoration orders, which caused her to have to serve her guests in the spring party with clear soup instead. Azako shuddered at the memory of that Not nice.... Not wanting for it to happen again, she started flipping through the stacks of paper, but dropped them all after a while and slumped back on to her back. "I'll do them later..."

Hmmm since im to lazy and soren knows more about shinigami powers im gonna get him to look at this but from what i can see hell probally approve

Okay this looks approvable in some cases however this "It allows Azako the power of making her and her zanpaktou intangible to any solid objects, liquids, and air; The only thing that they cannot pass through are other zanpaktous." won't be allowed because of how bad it can be and shrink the radius of your 10 mile mist....that is way too much and not to mention the reitsu your character would have to have....

Will it be approved then, if I change it to intangible to any solid objects, liquids, and air, with the exception of zanpaktous and kido (i.e. she can still be wounded and bounded by kido)

and and and, because I hadn't noticed until now (yup, blame me), I realized that after the reset this other guy got the position of 8th Divison Captain D: I dunno if someone made a mistake while approving my OC or his, but, what I want to know is 1)whether I can use my OC yet or not; and 2)Does my OC have the position of 8th division captain.
