Name: Hierro/Regeneration Virus
Description (include how it works): This is a virus that is supposed to grant the recipient the Hierro and regeneration abilities of an Arrancar. The way it works is that a small amount of virus is injected into a patient. The virus multiplies until every single cell in the body has viruses in it, and then activates. (The reason the virus is dormant is so that the body’s immune system won’t target changed cells if they change all at once) The virus deconstructs parts of the subject’s DNA and replaces it with the code that one would find in an Arrancar’s DNA that are applicable to Hierro and regenerative properties. The process is very painful.
Application: Obvious.
Restrictions (if applicable): Restricted to Captain-class beings, and perhaps some special Vice-Captain class beings. Weaker beings will likely become Hollows upon virus activating. Unknown effect on Vizards or Arrancars. Unknown if latent effects include Hollowfication.

No because Hierro isn't genetically linked. It's made from naturally compressing and hardening reatsu above their skin. As for the regeneration. It's too much in my opinion. I frown upon it. Thiugh if you really want it, the restrictions on the healing will be heavy. So much so, that you'd be better off not having it.

Furthermore, while v i z a r d are approved in Soul society, it wouldn't be moral to be used on captain-class. Plus the Captain-Class shinigami are powerful as it is. I see no real need to steal another races attribute. It'd be almost as if they take shinigami's kido.
